Best way to mix fast set 20 minute drywall mud

Would it be easier to mix it in a small bucket and then pour it into the tray?

thinking about time management and how much my time or your time might be worth. Why not use a gallon bucket from the dollar store and mix it in there. Then you don't have a drywall pan to clean out. But seems to me the paddle is the way to go especially if you want to save your wrist and make your stuff super creamy smooth?

Best too use corded mixing drills....Battery power drill dont like water too much...🥴🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

How did you miss the FIRST instruction? Always add the water first. It's on every bag.

I use a Gatorade bottle to add water with one hand while mixing.

I put water in my tray to start, cuts down on the dust.

Try putting a little water in your tray 1st. It helps by not having the dry mud sticking in all the corners
