Hi Eddie, thanks for another great video! I had a question about the functionality of this versus native hubs. Specifically I have a boat load of Aqara devices that are connected to the Aqara hub. Would there be advantages/disadvantages of going this route instead of using the manufacturers hub?

Do I need the conbee2 stick or can I use the Hue bridge to comunicate with the devices?

Hello Eddie, I have started home automation very recently, I am watching all your videos to be able to connect more devices to Homekit, I have bought the Conbe II + Raspberri to be able to connect Xiaomi Mi motion Sensor motion sensors, and I follow your video and I don't The sensors appear in the Conbe II, I put them in pairing mode and they do not appear ... I would like you to help me, thank you very much for your videos, they are fantastic

If I understand correctly with this small usb you don’t need any zigbee bridge/gateway(in my particular case sonoff). Is this correct?

sonoff zigbee devices are not present in the compatibility list of Conbee II ... can you tell me if they are compatible

Hi Eddie I've followed you tutorial its very helpful, just one thing, My hoobs interface is slightly different and I don't have the user option that you did. When I click the plus sign under users it gives me 2 text boxes instead of the large text field

Does anybody have a link to instructions to do this. Watching an 11 minute video is not nearly as straightforward as reading five instructions. ADHD FML

I am trying to add an aqara D1 switch in homekit with Conbee II and with Phoscon app and Homebridge Hue plugin on my rasberrypi. Phoscon detects it for me, but in homekit it does detect it but it says that the device is not compatible with the home app and cannot be interacted with. It doesn't let you do anything at all.
Trying to re-add the aqara D1 switch to Phoscom, I don't know how, I added it as a "light" but I had to delete it and I don't know how to re-add it as a "light" device to see if I can interact with it in homekit.

Do you know why I can't interact with it in homekit and why in the Home app it says unsupported accessory when it does detect it through the homebridge plugin? Thank you so much
