I've thought about finding a nice JV-1000, I like the control all those sliders afford, I've already got an XP80 that I've loaded up with 4 SR-JV80 cards (Pop, Vintage Synth, Keys of the 60's & 70's, and Orchestra) I love the XP, but it just doesnt have the control (not enough knobs & sliders) It would have been AWEfreakinTASTIC if Roland would have created a monster VA like a JD-800 that had all the expandability, efx, and features of the XP80 (maybe they could have called it the JDX-800 LOL)

How did you find the JV-1000 in such immaculate condition? Where did you locate in & how much did you pay? if you do not mind me asking..... dig the patches and would consider owning one, but the major stickler i have for gear is "condition / aesthetics"

These 90's Roland synths need to be modified. I've successfully moded the Roland JV80 that was lifeless, the mod made the sounds really bloom, more like the D50.
