That’s a great rig! Imagine putting the Kimbo on a F150 with a 7.2kw generator and not relying on the propane.
ОтветитьNice, but at my age I want the indoor outhouse.
ОтветитьNot for 20 or 30 thousand
ОтветитьAmigos..better do a serious reality check, for your stoke is totally out of whack with reality...even a 5 yr old can see this couple have zero personal gear aboard..taken lodging at the inn. Any amount of onboard living experience would allow you to see how insufficient ever aspect of this 25 K bread box. Zero fridge capacity, no wardrobe unless it consist of a single wetsuit, the door entrance/ shower - you can't possibly be serious..a 2 min rinse off, & your camper will be mildew central.. seriously 25 K for an interior with walls line with 99 cent garage gear baskets ? So what will you place in those baskets you will end up looking at as a wall decor on your 2 wk road journey ..underwear- socks, mostly dirty..& a folded warm ski jacket will fill one basket..leaving another rattle basket to contain pots, pans, spices, condoms, bbq,an extra 5 gal water jug, all your cd's, binoculars, road maps, tooth brushes, hair brush, 3 bottles if vino & all your climbing gear..& the other bin over your tiny chair will be exclusively designated for a soaking wet half frozen 'clever' roof tarp..stuffed in...also looking very cool..oh yeah...the kindling & main chunks of fire wood...sure you can just set in the sink basin...because after all i absolutely you will be taking a room in some hotel..for --
Even your husky dog will demand at least that ! Gotta luv the basic body design..yet lots needed for a functional real life on the road interior. My comments stem from 30 + yrs. full time on the roader history. My camper ..2001 E350 Econoline- 7.2 liter diesel, extra length, extended roof height, 9K lbs former Sportsmobile with an entire interior custom rebuild..full onboard day-day living 15 yrs solid... Canyon in coastal Cali.
Not for Po Folks🤣
ОтветитьThis dood is so baked
Ответить1. Kimbo is on top of my list for a camper those guys do great work very smart. 2. Having this dude who is so stoked on it makes me much happier. 3. I like dodge 3500 better lol maybe not with the super duty upgrades for 2021!
ОтветитьAwesome! Finally a Kimbo! I wanted one from the first time I saw one. Yeah the truck doesn't even know
the Kimbo is on back. A Toyota Taco will easily haul it.
When was the last time you saw truck camper on the road kinda a dieing breed and expensive as hell .👎👎👎
ОтветитьDid you have to build a platform to clear the trucks cab height?
ОтветитьWay is the a blue sky Tarp on it
ОтветитьSome overly simp couple buying something they truly don’t understand other than it was the “best that money could buy”, for travelers there sure isn’t much living equipment in there.
Ответитьwhere did you buy your windows? I have been looking for them all over the place
ОтветитьSucks...im 6'3.5
ОтветитьWay cool. Just saw one of these on a Tacoma up in the mountains.
ОтветитьYes, the Kimbo rigs are functional, but as Erik said in the video, doing much more with it other than weekend warrior stuff, would leave you wannting something bigger.
ОтветитьHow much do they cost approximately?
ОтветитьThis is a great video...thanks for posting...I like seeing how people are getting the best out of their Kimbos...& how real people fit in.
Much appreciation from New Zealand.
I'm planning to go with the mid-size truck route and have come to two conclusions, Scout or Kimbo...decisions, decisions.
Thank you for the tour, though.
The kimbo is truly the best in minimalist engineering I've observed. The dual functionality of most elements along with undeterred maintenance make this camper the dream of those of us that one day strive to reduce our footprint without giving up the accoutrements of certain elements of modern living. My partner and I will have to wait until our offspring are older before endeavoring into this fantastic voyage. Until then all you young people keep the industry innovating!
ОтветитьCheers to them, but I can't help wonder how so much capital ends up in such young hands.
Love those Kimbos!
I was very impressed with the design. I saw sandwich panels of this type for the first time.
ОтветитьKimbos look so damn fuggly. Expensive and ugly
ОтветитьLike yours better
ОтветитьI'd really like to know how a porta potty could be installed along with a shower.
ОтветитьI saw this rig in Sun Valley a few days ago - between the Tremor and the Kimbo, it’s striking in person. Super cool.
ОтветитьPata-Gucci!
ОтветитьI prefer your set up...
ОтветитьWhatever happened to Kimbo Slice? Lol!
ОтветитьGotta have that loaded F350 diesel for towing those super heavy dirt bikes lol.
ОтветитьThis would be fun and something for a vacation with a family. But the idea of living in this thing, especially with my wife, sounds like suicide LOL
ОтветитьLooks like over priced sheet metal for trust fund ski bum stomer’s
ОтветитьI wonder if this would fit in a Ford Ranger - SuperCrew 5' Box. Hard finding a truck camper thats not a pop top. Also like the scout yoho.
Ответитьbeautiful man, just beautiful...
ОтветитьWhen is this? Month/Year? Love windows that lift out so rain can't come in. I need a bigger power source. Small company with morals!!! Door is fascinating!
ОтветитьI'm considering a Kimbo for many of the reasons mentioned. I like the simplicity but where do they go to the bathroom? I don't see a spot for a cassette toilet in any of the literature.
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. Kimbo seems to be a great truck camper, but of course the one you guys built is supreme. I am going to order a Kimbo today, just my concern with Kimbo is the fact that there is no were to put a mini stove. I am most likely going to order it without the kitchen, so I can make room for a longer table. My use for the Kimbo is for snowboarding only, and as you know, in the cold, you can't cook outside.
ОтветитьOh I like it, that is a awesome camper, with a fireplace that’s awesome I’ll be watching for more appreciate you sharing
ОтветитьWooHoo! Nice rig tour! Thanks for sharing
Ответитьwhy the tarp?
ОтветитьCan’t wait to see what you two design next. Having owned a airstream 19 coach, I’m more impressed with the versatility of your truck camper build.
I agree quality of thermo seal is so important. This slide in camper is nice too. Light weight but seem quality and to have durable construction. Thanks for sharing..
Excellent analysis of the Kimbo unit.
ОтветитьShe dosnt like cabinets becouse she gets mold what ??
ОтветитьKind of a surprise to see a Kimbo on your channel today. I happen to live in Bellingham Wa. where Kimbo's are made and a friend of mine actually works there building them. Small world!
ОтветитьJOE BIDEN WILL NEVER BE THE MAN MICHELLE OBAMA WAS 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
ОтветитьWhy is there a tarp over the top?
ОтветитьLooks pretty awesome . I love the simplicity and functionality of the Kimbo. I have an F350 but want a light weight camper that we can close the tailgate. Good job!
ОтветитьI like that its like a cocoon safe and warm when it snows. Ive been looking at wedge tent campers which are fun and light but do not keep you warm in the winter. i wonder how well the kimbo does in the summer?
