ОтветитьGlad you were able to video this! Edgar pretty much hit everything. Here's a Paph trick I learned. Paph flowers usually develop so the dorsal sepal protects the pouch from rain. This results in flowers that seem to be angled slightly downwards. To remedy this let the flower open without spiking. When it is open for a day, stake it so it's angled back a bit. The pouch will reorient itself downwards and the flower will be presented better. Love you my orchid wife!

ОтветитьThanks for this. I never learned this when I went to my first show, but I wanted them to look as nice as they could, so I cleaned them up. However, I totally spaced it the next time and felt like a damn fool. This is great.
