After all my decades in beautiful Philippines, including many protests against U.S. bases and troops dating back to the Viet Nam war, TODAY was the first time I ever saw them burn the American flag. I have no doubt that many Filipinos have passionate reasons AGAINST the presence of U.S. troops here for training exercises to counter the Chinese threat. And I also have NO DOUBT that Communist China is funding some of the protestors, just as they are funding discord in the U.S. now.

Beware of the females on P.Burgos Street. They will try to scam you by demanding more money for their 'services' and use their pimps to assault you. Stay away!
