lol everyone is using this for different purposes. I personally get very easily distracted in the exams and forget almost everything I knew. So, I am using this while studying for them. In today's case for TOEFL, because everyone has the exam in the same room, and they start their speaking part while I am reading/writing/listening/speaking.

I go to a barn where my daughter rides horses and I’m a “younger mom” (I’m literally 30 now and they’ll all like 90….😂) and the older moms are really rude to me here .. they ignore me, exclude me or just give me dirty looks.. make it so I don’t have a place to stand .. I’m always gonna watch my kid ride but today it was just too much .. I work nights and come here exhausted so I don’t appreciate them being that way …like just leave me alone .. so instead I’ll just pretend I’m on the phone

Idk how all of you are using this to pretend you’re on a phone call. You must’ve memorized the script and the amount of time between responses. It did not work for me even a little. I kept getting interrupted and our conversation made no sense at all. I was a stuttering mess. It gained the attention of everyone around, which is the opposite of what i wanted 😂

I LOVE LOOOVVVE that you keep it SOO0OO vague...bc I needed to act like I was on a work / conference call to get out of an annoying activity (it's a long story)...and, unless someone was able to listen really intently (which they weren't able to do), almost everything I said back "to you" make sense. Amazing how most of our real life convos DO actually have WAY too many filler/unnecessary words...and also way too much "he said, she said"😆
