Wheels are a good way to help speedy greedy they don't mind going fast over land as long as you can figure out which way is forward before you land . Even more fun if you can do it segway style.

What was your standing with the space pirate faction. That might be why you were neutral with them. I noticed on salvaging playthroughs that as I ground down wrecks, that I gained standing with space pirates.

How come you don't build vehicles from others?
There are several builders who have already built excellent vehicles that usually have better designs than what you can do yourself, at least I do.

Something you can do here to get oxygen into the base is putting another air vent on top of the interior vent that faces the outside and setting it to depressurize. It will pull oxygen from the atmosphere and into the base, even if there are only trace amounts of it. This works great with pressurizing bases on low-oxygen worlds like the Alien planet.
