This is bullshit, OR it should be firmly defined in what ERA is being discussed because frankly non of them are cheap for people in third world counties ( am talking DIL here) like UNITED KINGDOM. In that context I was expecting a retrospective description of Machines such as .Honda CD175, MZ 250 (series ) JAWA 350 , Honda C90, Suzuki B120. ET AL. Modern day Motor bikes above like 250cc are NOT CHEAP, conversely & = below that power level because the 2nd hand car market is flooded.
