heard this song for the first time after my first dog passed and i got a job in news a few weeks later. that first chorus really hit home for me.

Just heard this on Spotify for the first time. Might be one of the most beautifully written and performed songs ive ever heard. Dawes is fantastic, but Lizzy just hits different. Thank god for this one. 👍🏻

I dont dislike this version but to claim this version is better than Taylor Goldsmith's is absolutely asinine. His finger picking of the guitar is much better suited for the melody than this droll lazy strumming. He also adds a bit more emotion as he sings each verse where Lizzy kind of has the same soft whisper singing throughout.
