Whenever I want to understand how ridiculous the Oscar Academy is, and why terrible actors receive the award, I see this. the guy who "invented" cinema, the way of doing it, the tricks, the direction, how to act, the filming effects, the music, and even the reason for the existence of an "Oscar Academy", NEVER WON AN OSCAR! AND DERWM ONE AS A CONSOLATION PRIZE just to justify themselves as "Righteous". never by Chaplin! and unlike Hollywood, he still showed all humility and just thanked them and called them kind and loving people. Hollywood is really RICULOUS!

I can't believe nobody can tell the difference, a whole fortune was stolen of one of the most successful beings in the world and no one noticed. The guy talking wasn't charlie Chaplin anymore, that is the demon Lucifer and a heavy influence in a corrupt government being formed mainly disappearing successful business, music or acting families and replacing them with look alikes and like in the case of charlie Chaplin a complete snake that didn't even look alike took over. Around 2018 or so I had the pleasure of going to The Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, California on a Saturday evening. They were showing Charlie Chaplin's great film City Lights with live music from their incredible Wurlitzer organ. First there was a sing along and a short comedy. Then they ran City Lights. It was so amazing to sit there in this half full theater watching the film and laughing along as people would have done in the 1930's when it was new. It was hilarious and of course very moving. What a movie, what an experience and most of all what a brilliant film maker and human being Charlie Chaplin was.

You showed us that silence could convey much more than eloquence! 👍

RIP, legend! 🎉

He is a perfect, professional and humble greatest artist! I have been enjoying his silent, humorous, yet inspiring silent movies for 70 years!
