Hello!!!  Great review!!  I have my mixed feelings about this toy.  It is the only one us fans have to choose from, so I'm grateful for that... but the lacking Tank mode is a bit annoying.  I hope to one day customize mine to do so.

*Also, I wanted to ask if the toes on your Playmates version retract at all??  I ask because I have the Matchbox release and those do...  I noticed this in your photos as well as on your video.

There's not Transport Mode?

This was such a let down when I got this almost thirty years ago... but I still loved it!

This toy baffled me as a kid! Mine was missing instructions so i always wondered why i couldn't get it into a tank mode. Surprised i didn't break it.

the hover tank battliod is in comparison a wonderful toy in my words I remember having one as a kid in 80s I for one don't think because it has no joe articulation that it is a second rate toy I consider it top notch to be precise although you can only transform it into 2 modes as a toy I played with it loving everything about it in fact while watching the premier I cut classes now I know I would get ribbing from teach for failing to go to class but you kids understand I could not escape it's attention to end I wish I were understood then I would have more friends I hope to reunite with the only two friends that matter to me with HASBROs help ti in tot te ?!.

As a huge Robotech fan, had this toy and was so disappointed that it did not have a Hover Tank mode. Hover Tank/Battloid mode toy would have been so much better! Oh well, great review.

They need to remake the hovertank with full transformation ability

I've LoL when I saw the old video where the toy representative broke this toy in half when he attempted to transform it.🤣🤣

you would think that somebody or some company would give this thing some proper Justice by now that it could transform into all three modes and have a halfway decent hover tank Gear walk and batroid but no LOL
