While I agree with that, I disagree that the government has the right to regulate the right to travel. By that logic, the government could force me to pay taxes just for walking somewhere, which is absolutely a constitutional violation.

You need to go do some actual word definition searches, because you continually interchange the words drive with the word travel.. when you use words like DRIVE, MOTOR VEHICLE, OPERATE, OPERATOR, ect of such a MOTOR VEHICLE. you are using words which define one who is engaged in COMMERCE on the highway and it is COMMERCE which is regulated.. the highways are built and maintained from tax dollars.. in other words, the roads are owned and maintained by we the people.. the government does not spend one single penny of their own money for any roads at all ever.. in fact every penny any government agency ever has, it got from tax dollars in one form or another.. Commerce is what is regulated.. a Taxi, Uber, Fed Ex, UPS are all engaged in COMMERCE on the highway.. they are using the public roads as their place of business.. so to keep the public safe on their roads, they need to be licensed, their Motor Vehicles Registered and inspected, and insured to make sure if they injure or harm another while engaged in commerce, that the injured party can be compensated for their injuries.. the right to TRAVEL is different, nobody is using the highways as their place of business, we all have a right to travel freely unencumbered anywhere on the creators planet.. the roads belong we the people, we paid for them and we get the free use of them to travel upon.. No license, no registration, no proof of insurance.. because there is a difference between a right and a PRIVILEGE.. DRIVING, and OPERATING a MOTOR VEHICLE is a PRIVILEGE.. the right to travel is a right.. you can not remove such a God given right, and sell it back to the people under the guise of DRIVING.. because we are NOT engaged in COMMERCE.. The automobile is in the document. People need to do the homework so this doesn't happen anymore. It was decided in the united states supreme court and is common knowledge if you can find the book. I lost my license in 2007 because I was driving my moms vehicle she purchased for my use, but didn’t put me in the insurance. I can argue that this situation was not my fault. I have since been crippled financially due to missed job opportunities, mentally, etc due to my inability travel freely. How can one pursue happiness in a situation like this. These paper requirements to travel freely violate the constitution on multiple fronts.

I can't walk on an interstate, I can only drive and so I'm required to have to subject myself to the restrictions of the government because lawyers and judges are too cowardly to fight for my right to travel.

Private Traveling is a God Given Right, Driving is a Privilege, because Driving is Commerce.SCOTUS has ruled that Private Travel by the modern day conveyance (automobile) is a God Given Right which no form of Government can take away, and replace with their Privilege, and charge a fee for. Also Public Roads are owned by the public, and who is the Public ? People like you, and me. Since people like you, and me are the public, and the roads are public, then that means that people like you and me own the public roads. If the roads are public owned, and we, the people are the public, then we, the people own the roads, and since we own the public roads, why do we, the public need government permission to travel in private property (automobile) that we own on public roads that we, the public own ? I routinely see cases in traffic court dismissed because the defendant cites the very traffic laws that regulate where & how government may write citations for certain driving infractions & upon who. There are law firms in states such as Florida that you can pay a flat fee to that will make ANY speeding ticket go away. No marks on your license - gone. Now, what fundamental principle of LAW do you suppose that law firm is using? You don't know what you're talking about.

Public roads were always free to use long before cars became available. Driving is not a privilege, i dont care what anyone says. We need to be able to drive in order to survive these days, and everyone drives so how is that a privilege? But according to the corrupt government we don't have a right to carry and we obviously don't have a right to free speech. If you wanna believe the nonsense believe it.
