Warframe Dante Unbound: New Frame & Deep Archimedea Steel Path Mode!

I will take Kahl over Klem anyday. That all said I am looking forward to Dante excitedly as I always wanted to be a mage in warframe. Eventually people will have to learn to accept that "difficulty" is subjective not objective, each person may find one thing difficult and another thing easy and vice versa that is the fun of different builds, different styles and different mindsets.

In terms of the statement about roar, i for one hate glass cannons and i am in the minority i know but i will never sacrifice survivability for damage but i will sacrifice damage for survivability because downed or dead soldiers deal zero damage.

They definitely heard our complaints about the Grimmoire not being very DPS focused. Noctua is a 100% slash based, that's awesome.

But Deep Archimedia just seems like a glorified Duviri Circuit rotation with extra steps which is meh but we get guaranteed high tier rewards which is good.

Deep Archimedia seems neat, but I worry about the randomized loadout stuff. DuViri can basically just be a middle finger at times with it, and you can't (seemingly) cycle off Archimedia. As modifiers go... DE has kind of consistently struggled to make those interesting or strategic rather then obnoxious or ineffective.

The augments all seem interesting. Styanaxs was kind of odd sounding and I didnt quite get it lol. Kullervos sounds cool but kind of falls apart in game logic, nothing you Wrathful Advance to is going to be alive to need the daggers at that location.


Very solid upgrade on Inaros 2 (or 2+3, whatever)
The splitting up kind of creates two underwhelming abilities in the 3 and 4 slots though.
The 3 is very short up for status immunity (240 non-scaling armour is nothing) compared to Iron Skin, Halo, Mesmer, whatever Qorvexs is killed etc.
The 4 Ult is CC+slow armour strip by corrosive procs. 13 ticks is something like 3 1/4 seconds on current scarabs, and needs 2 emerald shards. Frost or Caliban who have similar CC/strip ults kind of laugh at that. Even Helminthable Fireblast can outperform it for less energy. If its a nuke, its kind of obviously subpar to Grendel (strips defenses and dumps toxin/viral). It might even come out unfavorably to Saryn's regular spores.

Like they have to go pretty all out on the spread/speed or actual damage.
Scaling one ability off health is also super-weird, as the other parts now mean you're likely having to swap in non-health mods to make your two work (to survive your augmented 3 lol) and needing to drastically address Inaros low energy pool since you now have a 2 and a 4 using lots of it.

When I heard he was gonna be a spell caster I thought of invoker from dota but yea maybe it’s cuz I haven’t played him yet but he doesn’t seem like that kind of guy n looks kinda meh in terms of fun.

I think that the Inaros rework thing is pretty subjective. I used to play a lot of inaros before steel path were a thing, and this looks amazing to me.

I had entered an exalted grimoire warframe back when they were asking for ideas for what eventually became sevagoth so to see him actually come to the game makes me happy....I even had the idea that he could switch between damage and heals I just didn't expect the ult or the damage type.

There were two other interesting things that were talked about over the Devs shorts. One being for the Inaros rework, they are going to make a sand ephemera. The other thing being, they are going to try to make Styanax’s deluxe skin’s nipple piercings a toggle option in appearance.

Am I the only one who finds his animations quite lacklustre?

I put Citrine's helminth ability over Inaros' second and used equilibrium in his build. Now I can throw sand and rocks at my enemies all the while keeping my energy and health topped off. It was fun, but I'll have to change it now. His three seams like it'll be a panic button as he becomes invincible while he's in the tornado. It's timed now so just tap, run untill you get far away and drag a few with you for finishers.

When is this update coming out?

I want a vague fantasy reference Warframe cause I think I deserve everything I want.

While not really mentioned in the stream, their post summery thing mentioned updates to slam attacks. Finally letting slam damage scale with regular mods and fixing aoe issues. So I can't help but wonder how much better certain slam gimmick weapons will feel. Like the korumm, with its super slow alt slam attack. Would be cool of this inadvertently makes that attack actually useful with the right build

Personal opinion, the only good side of the Dex Dakra is the free weapon slot and MR for those who haven't already been graced with it's presence. TBH that is how I feel about all the Dex weapons, this years being a Ninkana I'll have hope with the recent melee buff. My Kullervo is waiting with antici... pation.

i’m actually extremely excited for Dante, i’ve been building my plat to just buy him when he drops. i already have a few builds in mind, more of a strength —efficiency — range - duration build, as duration doesn’t seem extremely important with this frame. growing power as polarity seems like a good idea
