INSANE Fix for BORING Monaco F1!

ah yes, a 180mph portier approach without a run-off zone sounds like a fantastic idea. there is a reason for nouvelle chicane having no barriers.

Instead of the traditional grid start, start each car at predetermined intervals (10 sec/30sec/whatever) according to practice times. Similar to the Isle of Man motorcycle race. The winner determined by actual race time. And to keep it as honest as possible, any car caught up by another faster car, must move over within, say one lap.

Or, hear me out, just stop running this crap track and find a better one to replace it.

Had a picture in my mind’s eye of a bunch of F1 cars literally reversing around Monaco, it would be fun, not sure F1 gearboxes even have reverse gears 😂

The reverse course is pretty dangerous for safety.

Get rid of turn 10 and 11 chicane out of the tunnel and open up turn 12 as much as possible

A simple (though minor) fix would be to not count red flags as pit stops.

The main thing about Monaco is that it's high stress on the car. Reversing the track is why they go the way they do, so reversing again seems fine to me, but I'd also lengthen the race a bit. You want it to be as stressful on the driver and car as possible.

Formula E has better racing at Monaco than F1 has in the past decade. The Cars are the MAIN issue.

Make them Drive proper cars, no bs wings, flappy gearboxes and EV nonsense or steering wheels with 25 buttons and a different setup for each corner.

Great suggestion! I also think that the double pitstop rule is good, PLUS they need to use two slippery hard tyres and one super sticky ultrasoft. That’ll let the drivers with the ultras take more risks, but only for a limited time.

Fascinating idea and a definite improvement on the current situation. Only thing I would add is deleting the swimming pool chicane so drivers go full speed from the marina up the hill and through the tunnel. It might just work!

Monaco is about Quali. Not boring at all. Having all the races the same. In search for cookie cutter excitement. Now that is boring.

I also have a suggestion. They should driving in equal racing karts and not the F1 car. So more space for overtaking available. 😅

Interesting simple solution

I've always said, as Monanco is so Historic, make it an all star race or a dash for cash, not a points race, qualify, then start Slowest to Fastests, quickest starts last

Can we just have another formula series? Formula mini. It can focus on a car size in between f1 and go cart, with clean fueled v6s. I think f1 could learn a lot from it.

every track needs to be 6 cars wide in corners at all times ... then cars can use different lines ... right now its alot better than i remember F1 ... back in the Senna days and Schumy days most of the races were won in the pitts, people tend for forget all that
