Thanks guys for another excellent lesson. You two make a great pair. It's pretty cool to see 2 of you teaching the same lesson. I don't know anyone in their right mind could not like what you 2 are teaching. Because I'm always eager to hear both of you give the lessons. I noticed someone accidentally hit the thumbs down button 30 times on your lesson. I have to admit I accidentally did hit it a few times myself and didn't realize it until it was too late on other websites. I would always leave a comment though . If they didn't like what you two do, I would of thought they would leave a comment. You 2 or amazing teachers. We are all so grateful for your time and effort you put into these lessons!👍

This is so spot on Taylor, the example you have about what your father said about apostasy.
That’s exactly what Pres Nelson taught at this last General Conf. Just increase your faith. That’s what I need to do. Stay on the basics, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and then repent which I need to do daily.
I love this! Thank you.

Taylor and Tyler,
Your videos have saved me through the time we couldn't go to church, and I have learned so much from your insights! Thank you. And the blue shirt is a great color for Tyler on April 9, and nice tie, too.

Obrigada!!!

When you talked about doing things now that will mean something later, it reminds me of the changes in the church that Pres. Nelson made a year or so to the church. (Well I mean Our Savior made). They prepared us for COVID. Such as having church at home, couples being able to marry civilly and not have to wait a year, and many more.

Thank you so much for this lesson. I love that the Savior was not going to let the 4 missionaries go without Him. I can apply that to my life. Jesus will not let me go without the Comforter being my constant companion. Jesus is always there for me and for all of us. He is just a prayer away.

Thank you for the reminder that we are on a journey. Two of my sons are inactive and I fear for one of them particularly as his lifestyle is leading him on a destructive path. My heart breaks and the only thing that keeps me going is my faith and that even though I now have very little influence on my child, God is in charge and mindful of him. Thank you for your encouraging words... hearing about everyone’s ‘perfect’ children serving missions can be tiresome, so this was a reminder that I’m not alone.

Ok,are we or are we not supposed to watch for the signs of His coming so we are prepared? Yes! By daily living the gospel at the same time. Maybe not so much on the DAY but the things coming just before. I don’t think it’s either /or. I think it’s both.

Yes I’ve met many members with too much belief. They are usually intellectuals who tend to be bored with the basic gospel principles. Then they go off on tangents which often lead them out of the Church. Intellectualizing about the gospel puts our spiritual growth on hold.

I am responsible for the care of my Down syndrome sister. So many times I think if I wasn’t so tired and worn out from taking care of her I could serve more or maybe go on a senior mission. Your comment that that is the way through to the end helped so much. Even though it is wearing on me I hope and pray that I am learning something to help me at the end. It was as if you were talking directly to me. Thank you.

Taylor, your comment about apostasy was spot on. People with too much belief are fanatical, and it doesn’t endure. We need to focus on the Doctrine of Christ.

Two kinds of apostasy with the statement Too little belief, and Too much Belief really struck home with me. I have seen friends and members fall away from the Gospel when they have a "PET" Principle or Doctrine and that is all they study and believe, to the point that their focus leads them to apostasy. Thank you for that insight, and for all you do to teach us.

Preaching too much belief is what happened to my husband when he listened to a man—not the prophet—declare that he was and that the Church had gone astray and he was called to set it right. It has been the source of my great anguish for years. Thanks for your words. They strengthen me in my afflictions.

I never hear of a man being damned for believing too much; but they are damned for unbelief. says Joseph Smith [History of the Church, 6:477; from a discourse given by Joseph Smith on June 16, 1844, in Nauvoo, Illinois, Grove East of Temple; reported by Thomas Bullock]
