I'm a lifelong musician. I believe music, like so many other things, is a form of entertainment. Entertainment should provide us a brief escape from our personal troubles, our world problems, etc. SO, I believe there's no place in music for politics. Musicians should vote, but, beyond that, keep their political opinions to themselves. No need to drag politics (or anything else controversial) into their musical performances. Entertainers should simply entertain. Nothing further.
