"It happened today when I was out there with the survey team. 


We were up on a ridge and I was watching the rain sweep across the landscape below us. The rain gear they issued us is nice and warm, but eventually you're out there long enough that it doesn't make that much of a difference. You get cold. I glanced behind me at the survey team and saw them doing their thing with Erickson a few feet away and turned back to look out over the valley below us. East, out towards the flats about 5 klicks, the positioning light of our ship blinked steadily. I brought my rifle up to my shoulder and cranked the magnification up to maximum.

The ship looked like an animal, crouched in a low spot, trying to stay warm. Inside, I knew Cookie was preparing the evening meal. I knew it was warm inside the same way I knew my bunk waited for me, down near Engineering. Best spot to bunk because the hum of the ship's reactor was like a lullaby, rocking you to sleep as gently as a mother would her baby. And that's when I had the thought:


'I can't wait to get home'."

Starting from the beginning. No TV, no Internet, just community and farm life. That's what these settlers have done. If only they could truly go back to the way things were and erase their memories of TV and Internet.

Just landed a couple of hours ago and just
assembled the land chariot. Some of the crew
will explore the inner perimeter first before they
venture out any further in any direction. the rest
if the crew will remain on the ship and maintain
their regular ship duties and keep an eye on the
immediate area as a storm is starting up.
An hour after returning with no problems the
chariot crew rest up. it is coming down real hard
now and the ships meteorologist says it's the same
rain we get on Earth just a little bit stronger.
sent update back to Earth and will explore planet
tomorrow morning until noon and will unassemble
the land chariot and put it back in ship and on to
the next planet. that is all until the next transmission.
over and out. the First Landing on the first planet and
tomorrow the next one and all of the others.

the spaceship landed. all peoples got off the spaceship. people looked around and saw, and said "dis is big ship" and dEN somebody say "no DIS IS BIGGER SHIP" and he pull out a toy spaceship from pocket. Everyone laugh for a moment but then say "lol he joke". It was not even funny joke, but it got a LOL, for the reason that there was optimism and merrymaking after the spaceship got to new planet. A AdvENTURE awAIts \0/
