Thanks so much. I'm going to have my surgery on Thursday. I'm pretty excited about it, but a little bit nervous too.
Ответитьi had to get mine cranked up every month. as far as it could go. after only 3 yrs the battery wore out. remember. .one swipe will not do it. do it a few times. It will take a toll on your vocal cords I'm sorry. depending on how bad your seizures were, chances are u will be weaned of your meds slower than u think. but keep faith. they wont set u on high at first so there wont be much of a change.. BUT personally, I havent had one in 3 years praise God but Im on MAX. there's more, but you'll adjust. ;)
ОтветитьI had my surgery done in May I was sore for a couple of days and yes I had some bruising I took some tylennol I didnt use any tape to put around the surgery area that will irritate the area read the book the book that they had given because VIA NOVA makes the Implant.
ОтветитьI HAVE REALLY BAD INSOMNIA... I WAS CONSIDERING GETTING THE VNS BUT I WAS WONDERING IF IT GIVES YOU PROBLEMS SLEEPING. WHEN IT GOES OFF EVERY FIVE MIN WILL IT WAKE YOU UP?
ОтветитьYour video was very helpful & informative, thanks for sharing! My special needs daughter will be undergoing surgery for the VNS soon. She has silent/absent seizures that are on going and it makes it difficult to medicate her for them. Hoping this will help! Again, enjoyed your video....it was helpful to me so I know what she may be experiencing since she is non verbal. 😁👍
ОтветитьHello your video was very helpful & informative. But I do have a question for you. What do you do about my seizure medication while I'm healing ? When you get the VNS do you just automatically stop taking your seizure medications?
Ответитьhi alisa im going for the vns but how long did it take you to recover from the surgery
Ответитьdid they make u try the non-invasive nerve stimulator device first?
