Would have been so much cooler and better if the Buck and Doe arrived to save the day. They could have whooped up on the Giga and threw him at Rexy, where she bites down on his neck and snaps it. They have yet to show that the T-Rex had the most powerful biting force of any terrestrial animal ever!

I always called that T-Rex in the prologue "Rexy's Mom" since she is the clone of this female T-Rex. But like with Maisie Lockwood and her mother/clone template, Charlotte Lockwood, Rexy isn't her. Rexy's her own dinosaur.
But if she was able to remember the past, it still would be impactful for Rexy since it still is part of her history because this battle in the past is the reason Rexy is alive today. And she understands why she can't let Gigano win this fight. It's more than just who is stronger or whose territory this is: it's personal.

I feel like the spino should’ve been in the gigas place in this film, rexy would’ve been tasked with avenging her relative instead of just getting even with something that murked her 65,000,000 years ago.

I’m gonna be a pedantic ass hole but Giga and T-Rex lived many years apart and on separate continents. There is no way Rexy could have ever met the Giga and more importantly dna doesn’t contain memories so there is no way she should remember it in the first place
