Why do people always have to say “it’s this or that” Nothing can ever be in the middle? You can be a “gentle parent” but still discipline them and be hard on them. Because humans need BOTH!! BALANCE is key. Ugh stupid humans these days can’t grasp that concept of both things can be true at once. You can be gentle but also discipline so they don’t grow up to be overly confident, egotistical, assholes. There is such thing as too much and too little. You definitely need a balance but it seems like this “trend” is just people only going gentle and their kids end up being spoiled brats. I don’t use TikTok or anything. I feel like TikTok is just making humanity stupid and mean.
