badass quilt top
ОтветитьThe Deluxe LP has such great wood grain , even on the back, those diagonal lines ! Oh and I guess some of the other guitars were cool...the Flying -V , yes, Nordic Blue LP, hell yes ...Thanks Trogly !
ОтветитьHaving a pick guard on that beautiful quilt top is criminal!!
ОтветитьDon't really like the top that much it's not for everyone I guess
Ответить❤I saw the perfect guitar a year ago that 74 custom AAAtop you bought it was perfect please never sell. It someday I want to see it in your museum lol ❤😂
ОтветитьI started working at a guitar store a few months ago following a BRUTAL divorce. Just pulled the trigger on my first Gibson. 22 Goldtop Deluxe 🤟🏻
ОтветитьLove my Heritage Cherry Sunburst R0 Les Paul Standard 😁👍❤️
Ответитьlol dude your aversion to pink is a bit funny at this point lol.
ОтветитьYs
ОтветитьGreat condition? What are you talking about? That thing’s covered in crazy finish checking… oh wait… nope that’s my screen, I dropped my phone at the grocery store yesterday
ОтветитьI bought a natural wood finish 99 Telecaster a couple weeks ago. I originally bought it with the intention of reselling it or trading it, but I'm falling more and more in love with it every day. I think I'm gonna throw a Little 59 on the bridge and keep it forever. 🥰
ОтветитьA black stinger would look great on that shell pink custom
ОтветитьI think an Ebony finish looks best on a Les Paul Custom.
ОтветитьThere is no way to tell if the Reverb guitars are valid. Too many people getting ripped off with Chinese Gibsons. I will not buy a Reverb guitar.
ОтветитьSurprised myself recently in liking shell pink. I've been eyeing that Trini Lopez at GC for a while but haven't been able to justify it to myself yet, as I already have a Trini Lopez.
I'd really dig the LP Custom one except for the three uncovered pickups. Don't feel that really matches the shell pink vibe
The Junior is nice! 🤔
I could imagine getting that shell-pink Les Paul. I do like the notion of having a 3-H guitar with those half-and-half bobbins, and I would not have an issue with the middle pickup being there or they're not being a pickguard since I play fingerstyle as much as I can.
ОтветитьThat shell pink junior does not suck
ОтветитьMore click bait. The crappy looking vintage LP Deluxe examples I’ve seen on your channel over the years has me wondering how much money my extremely beautiful and virtually mint condition 1976 natural top Deluxe might bring, today.
ОтветитьGood thing I'm happy with the three Les Pauls I do have that first one certainly is tempting. If that V would've been book matched as you say that would sure tie the headstock the body as well as yhe grain together nicely.
ОтветитьI dig that huge G logo on the v👌
Ответитьrout it out for humbuckers!
ОтветитьThat shell pink LP would work with all black plastic. Those white pickups are not doing it...
ОтветитьThat was my Flying V ! And the Koa 68 , I sold them to the same shop
ОтветитьI hate fret nibs, worst part of a Gibson
ОтветитьSaw a 2020 PRS Dragon today on Reverb. That made me want to buy. And only $25k! 😅
ОтветитьThat’s what we need! A nice shtrong border, but not too shtrong😎👍
ОтветитьNordic blue looks like a topographic map of the bottom of the ocean!
ОтветитьAnd it's gone.
ОтветитьIs that what TV stands for in TV finishes? Translucent varnish?
Ответитьthe Max Guitar Flying V looks fantastic. absolutely Southern Rock workhorse style. the Shell Pink
LP is ok but ultimately i prefer that as a Strat color.
This looks very similar to my '99 Standard. I'm a huge fan of plain tops, there's something very low-key cool vintage about them.
Ответить✌️
ОтветитьWow. Imagine. A few pieces of wood and a bit of metal. Wow. 👎👎👎👎
ОтветитьThe more unique characteristics a guitar like an LP has the better IMO
ОтветитьHoly shit this might be the only "regular" Les Paul I've ever liked. I always thought that Tobacco Bursts were the way to go.
ОтветитьThe quilt top was nice. I think it was the best one today.
ОтветитьThat’s a beautiful Deluxe! If it was around $3k, I would have thrown down my money! 😊
Ответить🎉
ОтветитьShell pink tends to work best on Fenders. It gives them that cool early 60s rock n roll vibe. I quite liked the Junior in it, but overall Gibsons don't really suit that shade. Thought experiment: how easy would it be to order an Explorer in shell pink...
ОтветитьJust ordered the sg Supreme koa.
Beautiful axe
Howdy
ОтветитьI remember seeing the Deluxe models sit for months (even years) in music stores in the early '80's. The mini humbuckers didn't seem to appeal to the guitarists in my metro area. Now to think of how valuable they are!
ОтветитьThis video makes my collection of 7ea 2016/2017 Painted Over LPs seem like a bargain :D
ОтветитьWow. Never seen this and have to ask: Does the outgassing of pick guards cause discoloration on fabrics?
ОтветитьLots of pink-phobic people seem to think the Rose Gold Modern Lite is "pink", but it's a stretch IMO. Shell Pink comes closer, but even that has a ton of white in it. Flamingos and bubble gum are pink. 🦩🦩🦩
ОтветитьI have a tobacco burst 78 Deluxe in great condition. It's my magic guitar. Use both pickups, turn volumes up to 8 or greater, turn tone knobs way down, plug into a Marshall and you'll get very warm unending sustain.
Ответитьhate it
