If you read and understand the context, Paul is not saying that being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He is saying that HE(Paul) would rather be absent from his body and be present with the Lord.

You are grossly misrepresenting the Catholic faith.

There’s not a huge motivation for money. This is a false claim. Catholics do not sell indulgences

This is a serious misrepresentation of Catholic teaching. We aren't buying people out of purgatory. Also, its not a place. Its a purification because no one is clean enough for heaven. Jesus made us sons and daughters of God. (Matthew 5:26 Truly, I say to you, you will never get out till you have paid the last penny. )
He did not make us perfect- obviously! Heaven requires spiritual perfection and we all need to be purified before entering. I usually have a hard time identifying what a strawman is, but wow is this a glaring one.
Get a Catholic on to talk or at least learn what we actually believe before you attack the teaching.

They talk about money and gain themselves, well why do they charge 10%? Where is that in the Bible? Where does jesus ever teach this? I belonged to the Catholic Church for years. They make you attend classes for a year before becoming a member. Never once was I told or heard that you can pay someone’s way out of purgatory. This video is highly misleading.
