I hate the spending w/o some resolution of the debt! Come on people, not just Republicans, reel this thing in or when it blows up there will be consequences unimaginable for us Americans.

This has become the Trump News Show in the morning, FOX Jr. Be nice if you covered other political events not involving Trump. Also many, many economists disagree with Trump's economic policies. It would be nice to cover other views equally. Also, the environment and the increasing alarm from scientists watching the negative effects of increasing fossil fuel production and consumption might be nice. Some of us would like to get news of US life beyond Trump's daily rantings and not just fluff pieces.

Mr. Moore is a scam artist and bullshiter of the highest order. I read his book and this is just regurgitating trickle down economics that were debunked in my twenties. Most of what he writes is just repeating what failed economics experts touted in the 80s.

People talk about how great the economy is doing. "Stock markets are up!" "Taxes are down!" "Unemployment is at record lows!"

Yea, those points matter. But the MOST important factor is... how are average Americans doing?

For most people, their wages have stagnated.
For most people, the rising costs of energy, food, products and services are outpacing the rise of their paycheck.
For most people, the cost of healthcare is becoming more of an issue.
For most people, they're not seeing the gains that corporations and the wealthy have been celebrating.

And remember, those tax cuts last year tacked on well over $100 billion onto the debt.
The deficit jumped up, and is expected to double next year.
And don't forget, those tariffs on Chinese goods, steel and aluminum...the cost of those tariffs are going to start trickling down into the prices of the things you buy. Which means you'll be paying more of your hard earned paycheck.

Many people are under the impression that the world can't survive economically without the USA being involved. Trump seems to be one of them. I've heard just the opposite.. that there are other options for countries besides dealing with us. I know zip about economics so I'm curious what economists have to say other than this pro-Trump guy. I've heard that some tariffs are hurting our farmers. The Cato Institute says there are 202 companies hurt by Trump’s tariffs. I guess some of this will have to be judged by the long term affects. What do you think?

Trump is the man, amazing work with the economy! Best we’ve seen in 50 or so years! Build the wall and secure our borders.

Before you leftists go on a tirade about how Trump and Stephen Moore are "reverse Robin Hoods" or stalking horses for the rich, let me point out that Moore has said on other shows that he supports removing certain tax loopholes that predominately favor the wealthy, and as far as I know, he believes that taxes should be lower for everyone who pays taxes, whether they're rich or not.

If I was president, I would want Stephen Moore to be on of my top economic advisors.

Hilarious. Trump literally on the golf course during G20 pandemic meeting and while being compared to Winston Churchill by syncophant.
