The last thing is that Umm al-Qura is a commercial capital and close to the sea, as evidenced by the presence of many Qur’anic verses that talk about ships for trade and the sea, and that the location of Mecca brings to it many goods (for the analogy - like Dubai in the current era) - traditional Mecca was not linked to the sea and at first The establishment of a seaport in the city of Jeddah during the reign of Uthman in the year 647 AD, meaning that it was 15 years after the death of the Prophet.

Islam is not dependent of Direction or any historical monuments. This research may be true because of many historical literature but in real sense May be Saudi Arabian lose some prestige and financial los if it's approved from many historians.
Islam is base on humanity and social rights not to worship any place or stone. So it's does not matter where ever is Patra or Makkah it does not matter for real Muslim

No matter what, the major problem is that there are no contemporary archeological evidences from the first century of the Muslim Prophet. How can such an important thing not be discovered ?Also if Mecca was really birth place of Islam why is it that there are no strong archeological evidences that can directly point out the Muslim prophet or any other prophets for that matter.
The other most important point that i recall Dan Gibson making was of geographical inconsistencies. As per the Muslim holy book the place of mecca is supposed to be rich of vegetation, there were suppose to water in plenty ,but this video also fails to give a strong response to that claim. Why would anybody want to live in a desert where there is no water. I mean this is basic. What i understand from this is that this video doesn't give out substantial evidence to counter Dan's claim and as a result I have to conclude that Dan's side of reasoning makes more sense than this video. Also please consider that Dan's has arrived to his conclusions by his ground reporting that means he has literally visited to these places by himself and witnessed it.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) accomplished his first visit to Taif (very near to Mecca). This visit is well documented in all the scriptures. If Jordan is the real mecca, then look at the map, how could that travel be even possible? The distance between Jordan and Taif is 1300km whereas distance between Makkah (present day) and Taif is 90km.

I think you need to watch Dan Gibson video again and also visit the sites like he did. He spent decades living and researching. If you think your material is better why not publish it for academic review and scrutiny??
