Cardboard covered with woodchips for walkways
ОтветитьI use plastic kiddie pools as big planters. This helps me keep weed control.
Once I harvest a pool, I plant a completely different crop in the pool.
i just discovered you and I am binge watching your videos 💕
ОтветитьJust add some washing up liquid to water in a sprayer, it kills the aphids.
ОтветитьWhy say "hacks"? Nobody used the word "hack" two years ago. What happened to "tips" or "tricks" or plain old "advice or suggestions"? You could take out the first two words in the video title and see that they are just superfluous.
ОтветитьWhat vegetables would grow in those lengths of drain pipe though? I mean the roots obviously won't get much space
Ответитьi will never be able to do these things as i live on an area with a ton of hard clay soil with very little garden space but i've been consuming these videos like there is no tomorrow for a while now. such interesting tips and it soothes the soul
ОтветитьRubbing alcohol products will also take permanent marker off of labels.
ОтветитьTY! New here. What's the top planting software? Also, what's the best budget software?
ОтветитьThe water bottle trick. Will that work in the ground as well? I really like that idea.
ОтветитьGood tips thanks.
ОтветитьHere in Florida, painted or written messages on rocks are fun and sweet to find in random places! Using as plant marker
Is genius ! Love it!Thanks for many ideas
❤❤💛 thank you !
ОтветитьI wonder what the presenter in this video is doing now?
ОтветитьSeeing the loo roll tubes serving as seed pots, I do these and put a cold used teabag in the bottom before adding the compost

ОтветитьFingernail polish remover takes off Permanent marker

ОтветитьMicro climate. My favourite hack doesn't seem like much of a hack, but if you have too much sun for a particular plant, you can plant it in the shade of another plant. The soil will be a few degrees cooler, and sometimes that is all you need.
ОтветитьMy favorite hack right now is after my prayer. I have planted lemon trees. Temperatures dropped and will be dropping in zone 7 during the night. I have a green house but the trees can't be moved nor the greenhouse. I said oh my God what am I going t I do? HE said use the plastic bags I have in storage that sheets and curtains came in. I found them because I used the bags to store other items . They fit very well over the trees and I was able to zip them.
Same plastic structure as a greenhouse with zipper. My greenhouse looks like the one in your video behind you. This answer just has a different shape.
I encourage folks to save those types of bags even the small ones for stater seeds. I also have clear plastic tarp that is used for sealing drafts. A roll over this wrapped around chicken fence is also a inexpensive was for a quick greenhouse for frost. Use to make a lid for it. God still hears.
I have never done so much pulling of weeds this season. I was testing soil for mole crickets and have found many nest. Watched videos on how to do. Now with all the wholes and weeds attached to them, I didn't want to waste the soil. Oh my God, what do I do to separate these dirt balls. Answer for me was to use a office waste basket I was going to toss. I put the balls of weeds with dirt, let them dry in the sun. The mesh from the waste basket shifted the weeds, rocks and bugs. Now I have powdery soil for replanting.
Along with this season I noticed I've been doing more home recycling and the trash folk asked why I only have one week of trash? Hahaha, told them after using all the hacks I been learning, they can have the left overs
Bottomless gallon jugs make nice mini greenhouses.
ОтветитьWrite in pencil then can remove with rubber erasers
ОтветитьTip - Avoid bending down and back aches when picking lower tomatoes by digging a 6 foot trench adjacent to your crop. 👍
ОтветитьCrap tips
ОтветитьAcetone removes permanent marker and doesn’t degrade the plastic.
ОтветитьAmazing advice. I'm awake as I can't sleep due to the heat.. this has made my early morning refreshing

Why is using sticky tape to get rid of aphids less wasteful than using water?
ОтветитьThank you for the video. Please tell me what is the name of that Gardening software...?🙏
ОтветитьWhat an excellent, helpful set of tips - thanks!
ОтветитьMeasure stick makes a good dig stick and planting stick.
ОтветитьSome plants I found tolerate wind less than others. I rearranged my grow bags to better shelter them from wind and got a great boost in plant health and growth. The microclimate is as important or even more important than I thought.
ОтветитьBrilliant ideas xx
ОтветитьI use my crushed egg shells to add to the soil in spring and to keep snails away. Coffee goes to the plants, too, as are tea leaves. Everything is in pots (with tiny holes to let out the surplus of water, so that yhey can be moved around, allowing to follof or avoid the sun during the day. My strawberries are against the wall in tubes: decorative and easy to collect. I'd put holes at tgexside, though, so that the plant got the time to enjoy the water!
ОтветитьAs you say, it’s not going to easy and it will be initially expensive. But it’s promising.
ОтветитьIf you come across a discarded venetian blind you can cut them up as plant labels and because they are made from aluminium they don't rot.
ОтветитьAwesome organic weed killer. Thanks Ben. 🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьRubbing alcohol can remove permanent marker from anything with little effort. Even fabrics.
ОтветитьYou don't need to plant the cardboard tube, the soil will hold. Quickly slip it off and put plant in the hole, then fill in. If you do leave the cardboard tube, loosen or remove the bottom flaps so the plant doesn't have to fight them to get roots through.
ОтветитьBiochar baby.
ОтветитьI start an informal mini worm farm now, everytime i start a large pot. I top frequently with kitchen and garden scrap and compost. I started collecting worms that come in with plants i purchase and they multiply like crazy. So, auto vermicompost, sort of recycling and massive heatlthy plants.
ОтветитьRule no 1. Dont have pet rabbits
Ответитьبہت زبردست بہت شاندار
