I got my Xr outright. I couldn’t resist making monthly payments.
Ответитьthank -you you are so brilliant
ОтветитьI feel like you could’ve just gotten an older phone you can afford instead of using a credit card for the newest version and upgrade later
ОтветитьYour losing weight! 🙂
ОтветитьI apologize that this video was completely not picked up by the algorithem because this is in amazing video; I think this could help a lot of people.
ОтветитьI saw that you got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine a month ago.. I'm wondering if you could tell us if you have any weird side effects. I have friends that have had some strange menstrual cycles along with thousands of other women across the world . It's that clotting issue that comes with the MRNA or the vector virus RNA therapy which is what you had You're very lucky to be alive. Unfortunately there are thousands of people that have had some very very bizarre adverse reactions and according to the CDC over 8000 people have died after being vaccinated VAERS. And that's only 10% of the people reported. Let's hope six months down the line everything is still okay. !!! Johnson Johnson can't even be trusted with baby powder but you did trust Johnson & Johnson and I really want to check back with you in 6 months in a year and see how you're doing...
ОтветитьI would suggest getting the Apple care plus with theft and loss then you only have to pay a deductible the same as you would if you had the insurance through your wireless carrier
ОтветитьSo now my question if you had the theft/loss plan would that have been covered 🤔
ОтветитьI don't see how this is a con for Upgrade Program. In either scenario, you are paying the same amount of money for the phone. There is no interest in your installment plan, and as you've started, you wouldn't be able to afford the phone if there was no installment plan.
So, not only are you able to use a phone you can't afford, but you were literally able to drop on in the ocean, get another one, for an extra 40 bucks a month. You're also building your credit, so there's that as well. Still a good video.
I’m sorry that u lost your phone , and i think buying straight out iphone is the best, and great video as always, byeoo
ОтветитьIt thst same thing tho. If you paid up front the $1,000 you would still be out a $1,000 after dropping the phone. You are paying a monthly fee for a phone that you don't have anymore but it's only because you haven't paid the $1,000 that you owe. Either way you are out 1k
ОтветитьNo, you still own both phones. You just didn’t pay for it all at once.
ОтветитьListen to this woman.
I realized decades back that buying a phone through the provider was a ripoff.
Theory was, you sign a two year contract, pay x amount a month for service and y amount for the phone. At the end of your contract the phone is paid for😁, Great. BUT at the end of that contract your monthly bill NEVER EVER went down. They never stop charging you for the phone. I stopped getting screwed because I stopped signing contracts.
I started buying my phones outright and hunted for the best PayAsYouGo service.
I understand the Apple Upgrade Program is not exactly the same, but in most ways it is.
You forgot the fees that paypal and ebay charge you for the iphone you sell. So probably will be about the same or even less then the amount you trade in.
ОтветитьDo you have to pay the taxes on each new iPhone you upgrade to each year? Or is that just a one time thing
ОтветитьThis IS NOT YOUR OPINION THIS IS A FACT. MAKE MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS. SHOULD I BUY THE NEW IPHONE 13 pro MAX BRAND NEW OR LEASE IT FROM SPRINT?
ОтветитьDoesnt the program come with apple care + or did they just add that? And would your mind change if apple care + was included?
ОтветитьYou're very brave for telling your story! Respect 👍👌.
Ответить"If you cannot afford the phone and you have to resolve to monthly payments like me, you probably don't need the phone at that moment" - then she goes and buys two.
ОтветитьThe only downside was that you didn’t take loss and theft which would not have cost too much more per month. For me without was £58ish and with is £60ish. I actually like apple care + so I’ve got no issue with that. I’m not sure I get the argument about having to pay for a phone that you don’t have though. If you paid for a phone outright and didn’t have loss it theft cover you still lose 1200 and you have to buy another one. As With anything, before it is not paid off it is not yours. Selling the phone in theory is better but there a lot of hassle with that. Ultimately there is no interest so your not paying anymore than what you should me paying.
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьIs this the same as using the Apple Card monthly payments when you buy online from Apple?
ОтветитьGreat video btw
ОтветитьGood. This is the video i need to watch rn 🙏🏾
ОтветитьI really never considered this before watching this video so I won't make the same mistake too🤦🏾♂
ОтветитьWow. Thats crazy🤦🏾♂
ОтветитьFrom watching this video I've learned a lot about Apples iphone upgrade program and as of rn I'm not up to it. Haven't had the experience in that before so I guess that's ok too. Also haven't had too many phones yet too lol 😂. I'm only on my 3rd iphone as of rn 🤦🏾♂
ОтветитьI have upgraded my phone three times never dropped it on the bottom of the ocean or anything and i turn out to be alright
ОтветитьOh, so is Apple care not included in the price? Since it is across 24 months, you end up paying half the phone price each year (having two phones for the price of one).
This year Apple is offering $700 for a 12 pro max when trading it in; that’s a really good offer. Essentially getting a 13 pro mad for $400. If Apple continues to offer generous trade in deals/values (I think they will have to now), then a lot of the price for your next iPhone is covered if you go the “buying phone out right” option (which I do also). With this route, you spend about $1500 for two phones over two years. This is a little more than the iPhone upgrade program, as it would be about $1100 (since you get two phones but lease it for about half the retail price each year). However, this is not factoring in Apple care. It is also nice feeling just to know it is yours and not technically still Apples.
It sucks to make payments on a phone you don’t have in your possession. You’re kinda screwed either way though. At least with the program if you shattered it you could get a new phone.
The apple trade in program sounds much better
ОтветитьI bought the iPhone 13 Pro out right. It was the best way for my situation.
ОтветитьThis makes no sense, when you trade in your old phone they give you credit for the new one, always get Apple Care to lose !
ОтветитьWell Apple does offer Theft & Loss as additional payment per month. Which is a personal decision, i know you can anticipate either but
ОтветитьI don't get a new phone every year. I wait a couple of years until my dad's contract gets renewed and he'll get me the one that comes out that year. So I'd probably skip a couple. My previous phone, iPhone 8, died on me last week. So, my dad ordered me an iPhone 12 Mini in purple. It's not the newest iPhone 13. I wanted a smaller phone but still kind of up to date. No more home button. I want all screen.
ОтветитьWhat happened to your Apple care program that you had to put on there? Does it not cover that kind of thing?
ОтветитьI thought the iPhone upgrade program includes Apple care plus with accidental damage and theft protection (including loss of the device)? You can go to Apple and simply report the phone as lost and get a new one with a small deductible?
ОтветитьYou fooled yourself! Why you buy 1,200$ and not get theft and lost.. 🤦🏽♂️ i always get theft and lost and if my phone cracks.. I report it lost and keep it as spare parts or sell it for spare parts..
ОтветитьQuestion: Would one have to pay the phone tax each time they upgrade or is it a one time thing?
ОтветитьSo, bad credit history. Dropped non-oceanproof phone in harbor. No theft/loss recovery.
I think you need a financial advisor. Don't take phones like that into the ocean without a wrist leash.
using the upgrade program OR buying outright, the cost of loosing the phone is identical! you CAN own your phone buy NOT UPGRADING in the program and just paying it off
ОтветитьWe did the T-Mobile iPhone for life. Get the Pro model free and upgrade ever two years. I did get two Pro Max phones and it’s 35 dollars for both phones for two years.
ОтветитьHi!
My name is Alexander, I am from the Republic of Belarus. I wanted to say that Apple phones are very expensive here, more expensive than in the USA, but I don’t know where young people get money for them, but they get it. Yes, someone goes with old models , and get high
from use . About video:
Thanks for the video, it was interesting to learn about this program, I thought it works a little differently, but what you said - this program would suit me. Unfortunately, we don’t have such programs, and with loans, the price of a phone becomes like a “wing from an airplane” :), but damn it, there are those who take loans, lose, beat, but continue to pay a lot of money! Still, I would use the program from Apple Care from loss / theft :))
And in the US, the prices for the iPhone are falling over time? Do you have a "black Friday", has it washed away to wait for it and order? I would like to use Apple)
What about doing apple care+ protection with Theft?
Ответитьits basically like leasing a car my parents have two lease a Range Rover and BMW X7 you basically pay for it and once the term is up you return it and get a new one
ОтветитьEither way you would have ended up paying for 2 phones, one of which you didn't have?? I don't get the problem here, sorry
ОтветитьIs Apple the only phone manufacturer in the US?
ОтветитьIf you sell on Ebay, you have to pay fees. It is not free. I believe that your BIG MISTAKE was not having full insurance on that Iphone.
ОтветитьShould have just gotten the Apple care with it
Ответить
