How Often Should you Upload to YouTube?

Once a week or month

Lately with college and my day job, I’ve only been able to post once a month and when I do try editing in my free-time I’m already tired by the time I get home. I only have a few days where I have most of the day to myself. Should I try to for once every two weeks at some point?

I noticed that when I started posting 2 long videos a week that my velocity would decrease and that it seemed to hurt the previous video’s traffic. Shorts however do seem to help but only if I don’t post more than 4 shorts a week. It seems like it’s taking the algorithm a longer time to examine our videos and show up too. Overall I think reducing the frequency to posting just 1 video a week has helped my most recent videos.

I started my channel 1 month ago. I posted 1 short every day and atleat 1-2 long form vids per week. I have 750 subs now

I got from one vid 120 sub

I uppoaded 14 shorts and a video but its not getting any views ,likes or subs?

One short every day

I got 1000 in 30 days and now 200 today…Post a short a day in my opinion. Every day shows you how your shorts will perform and gives more analytics for you to study.

I post 10 shorts a day my videos got views and 34 subscribers already I'm na keep going

Sometime I post 2-3 videos in a day and sometime don’t post for 2-3 days and it’s really effect on my channel growing badly

I make animations! I feel like if I upload one a week, it's better for views. If I post over every 2 weeks, then the views drop...

I barely upload anymore. So.. much.. stress..

I try to upload 1-5 times a day. No less than 1 and no more than 5. I try to upload at least once a day though. Maybe 6. I only upload six if I am bored.

My first 500 subs took 5 years as I wasn’t very serious. Then I came up with a suggestion of uploading shorts everyday. I’ve been uploading shorts for last 3 months. Next 500 only took 3 months. posting a short everyday definitely works. Best wishes & don’t give up 😊

Ive posted 2 videos a day during the week & sometimes 3 on the weekends for the last month . Each video im getting better at editing , & figuring out time frame sweet spot. I have 83 out so far is that to much to fast? Ive had my channel for years but barely started to use it for a purpose Oct 5th 2023.

Thank you! Using the real estate example makes it easy to envision how your own videos will clash and slow you down. Im a single disabled mom with teens, animals and a part time job. I really try to post a video no later than once every 2 weeks. Otherwise I dont feel Im being very fair to myself. I also get confused very easy by technology but Im trying to edit as good as I have learned "so far"👍😃

Ive been posting a video once a day for a few weeks and it really burnt me out, and made me feel like my videos were terrible

I started posting once a week for a while in the summer, i missed one or two weekly uploads and now I feel like I am not getting the views I got after missing that one or two weeks. How do I compare my ctr with impressions so I can verify it wasnt just one or two quality uploads instead of posting more frequently that boosted views?

I uploaded 72 videos in 7 days! so far channel has 17k views

Been uploading every 3 days for a couple months now and it’s so much fun! Way ahead of schedule too with the rest of october fully filmed and unlisted :)

I upload videos on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

It's literally hit and miss. One week I could get a couple thousand views and next one view each video 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
