It's got that Roland mid-90's sound too (JV series, etc.) (Not a bad thing!) IIRC it was a single-minded unit based around the SRJV Vintage Synth board and the JV architecture meant to bring the sounds at a lower price. I know they made several modules in the series, but I haven't seen any in person.

Use to have one of these, a lot of great sounds out of the box. Eccentually a module version of the JV expansion cards. I had made songs using only it. I remember seeing the Bass & Drum module being clearanced from Sam Ash circa 1999 or 2000

Have you ever looked inside? Now I'm curious if they have an actual sr-jv80 expansion board in them

Not a bad little module. I bought one in a little music store in Sittard, the Netherlands back in the 90s, but I admit I haven't used it in a LONG time...sounds nice and good video...wie immer...

Wonderful, delicate and special to dream and evade....

It's a great expander for the crash you pay, but unluckily mine has a digital aliasing noise if I push too much in the highest range. It sits very well, anyway beside my Akai vintage Little expander.... Thanks for the music!

Tolles Soundmodul. Für jemanden, den die beeihalteten Synths in unerreichbarer Ferne (preislich) liegen, eine gut Alternative. Für die Butter auf´s Brot auch gut geeignet :-).
Schönes Demo, aber leider nicht die gesamte Presetpalette abgespielt. Kannst du das nachholen, wenn irgendwann Zeit hast? LG, David

Nice sounds. I bought one of these recently, as I was impressed by my M-GS64. I'm still exploring both units. Roland synths are great IMO.
