Big Boar BBQ's 7lb "Ultimate Platter" Barbecue Challenge in West Salem, Wisconsin!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Big Boar BBQ's giant 7lb "Ultimate Platter" Barbecue Challenge hosted by Big Boar BBQ & Catering in West Salem, Wisconsin which is just outside of La Crosse, WI in the United States!! On my way to kick off a giant food challenge trip around the state of Minnesota, I stopped in West Salem, Wisconsin at Big Boar BBQ & Catering so I could attempt their 7lb "Ultimate Platter" Barbecue Challenge which had only been defeated a few times over the past few years the challenge has been available. There are three brothers who own Big Boar BBQ & Catering and they offer this 7lb "Ultimate Platter" as a regular menu item meant to serve entire families and groups of friends. I had just 30 minutes to finish everything all by myself. There was a 1/2 rack of BBQ pork ribs, 1/2 of a smoked chicken, 1/2 pound of juicy BBQ pulled pork, 1/2 pound of smoked beef brisket, 4 dinner rolls, and three large pint-sized 1lb side items of my choosing. I ordered Big Boar BBQ's baked beans, vinegar-based coleslaw, and their creamy homemade macaroni & cheese. I also got an extra cornbread muffin just to try it, and I was hoping to have their cornbread strawberry shortcake for dessert. The whole barbeque platter weighed over 7 pounds total. I was trying to finish everything within 30 short minutes to win my $71.99 barbeque meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on their Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Big Boar BBQ in West Salem, Wisconsin for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Friday evening to watch and meet me!!
