That’s interesting. Does he solder those before enameling? I’m surprised it’s not too hot for the solder. Also do you know what thickness he is using for his vessels?

Harlan!! Loved seeing his studio! I had no idea he uses a Cricut. Lots of papercrafters use it too, but it was so cool to see how he utilizes it for his vessels. I was surprised tho to see a shelf of shame - Harlan doesn’t make mistakes. Those must be apprentice errors. 😂 Thanks for sharing! 🤗

“Just don’t call me Mr Butt.” First thing he told us in class. I was so fortunate to get my Metalsmithing and Jewelry degree at UNT in the early 2000s. The enameling studio he taught was fantastic. Amazing artist and incredible teacher.
