Like your channel very much. Like Australia very much. Seems your past projections regarding Musk/Tesla have pretty much spot on. .Many of my relatives and friends hate Elon Musk. Can not figure out why they are so negative. Elon's/Space X has saved the U.S, Space program(NASA). Boeing, in the past 10-12 yrs. has received 2X the government $$ but has had almost 0 success with their space craft. They have yet to successfully return an astronaut from the Int'l Space Station. Tesla is the "only" U.S. auto manufacturer to make a profit marketing EV's. His AI progress is among the best. His brain research on the medical side seems to be exceptional. Now he will hopefully help President Trump remove some of the horrendous government spending waste. Thanks for supporting Trump! Also like Sky News Australia.

Will Tesla still be able to make a profit in ea vehicle if not only the tax rebates went away, but also the carbon credits it sells to traditional ICE manufacturers? That’s another big subsidy that Tesla has benefited immensely from

Any Electric Vehicle with a battery capable of thermal runaway should be banned. Current owners should be banned from indoor parking and especially multi-storey car parks as they make an ideal target for terrorist activities.

I have a feeling the bromance will sour between Trump and musk. Think of all the people that worked for Trump and now regret it. There is only room for one in the spotlight and Trump will likely win that battle.

Tesla will never be on the table for me. I have morals and a sense of decency. Those things are important to me, even if they're not important for other people. I'm not other people.

1- it is the states, not the federal govt, which would licence self-driving. No chance of that in the future 4 years.

2- trump will unsign the Paris Agreement, removing the requirement for manufacturers to comply with CO2 standards. This will severely impact EV sales (at least initially) and completely finish hybrids.

3- tesla is more dependent on credits than anyone else, in fact take away credit sales and they would be losing money.

4- trump isn't going to compete with china (and europe), he is going to block them behind tariff walls. The manufacturers will just keep making the same cars without updating as they did in Australia/NZ and south america in the 1970s and 80s.

Hey, living here in the US i honestly feel that it has gotten worse, especially when covid started it seemed things went downhill a lot. To be fair though that's just my perspective from 1 spot of the north east in the manafacturing rust belt. So I'm curious why you feel the US has been improving over the last 8 years or so. What are you seeing or hearing that makes you feel that the situation is improving? I just ask because I'm genuinely curious. 1 thing we can agree on is the role of media not helping things.
Also to be fair, I have seen solar popping up everywhere lately despite living in a rural area. In the last 5 years alone we went from a single 2.5mw instillation to now having 5 new ones all ranging between 2.5 - 5mw and just passed a 6th 3mw array being built. It use to be an old driving range about 20 acres but now the entire thing has poles installed and a few rows of pannels already in. Pretty wild and exciting to see how rapidly the area is changing even for a small town.

On media sensationalism I give you:
“They are eating the pets”
Donald Trump

On America: We are living through the decline of the American Empire. The average American, is forecast to live a shorter life than their parents, be less educated than their parents, have a lower standard of living than their parents, less likely to own their own home than their parents, have less wealth mobility than their parents. Etc. etc. these are the things that are real and that are material. Graphs showing GDP and the stock market going up and inflation decreasing really don’t matter when confronted with the material conditions of the population. Biden Harris offered no solution to or even acknowledged these conditions and they got boned as a result. Trump both acknowledged the problem and offered a solution which is more than both democratic candidates. Unfortunately the solution he offered was “immigrants are coming to eat your pets and rape your women” and “china stole all your jobs”. Which is both insane, racist and will not make anything better for the American working class. 🤷‍♂️

Hold your nose and applaud the people of USA for chosing a fantastic positive future. Who cares if Trump says stuff that upsets the woke and is a bit gauche at times. Compared to his opponents he is going to release the US from the absurd Democrat woke Orwellian present (alreadt is - not a future). Tesla is going to fly and so is Spaces X and so is the Boring company, AI and Neuralink. You are right in saying that Tesla is goind to be x3 in valuation. Trump will pivot towards Elon's Tesla, SpaceX and the Boring Company as well as producing oil and helping US ICE companies to invest in EV for the future and to diversify into electric motors for trains, cargo ships and Hyperloop. Trump will use Elon's genius to transform US businesses and infrastructure on an optimum strategy.

Nobody said he’s hitler, he said he wished he could have generals like Hitler did, and his former wife, said he used to read old Hitler stuff. And when he said they are poisoning the blood of our country, meaning immigrants. Hitler said the same words about the Jews, nobody is saying he’s Hitler, trump just happens to say similar things, that’s all. And I often remember others forget, Arnold in the past said he admired some things about Hitler, you can google it, I don’t hate Arnold, I think he’s a great guy, but trump is very dishonest, and is only out for himself.

Tesla was hammering US EV makers and unless you consider competition from BYD - and other Chinese EV makers, I still don't see how removing EV incentives adds up to a net gain for Tesla. Yea, Tesla might still be able to generate profits without the subsidies but at reduced profitability. I doubt that Harris would have been much more friendly to Chinese EV makers trying to sell in the USA relative to Trump. So I don't see any real gains for Tesla profitability via a Trump presidency relative to a hypothetical Harris presidency.

Never trust Trump on facts, but listen to his promises and threats. The problem, or relief depending on your political orientation, is Trumps incompetence, inability to empathize and narcism which makes him uniquely dangerous as a president. He is loyal to none but himself and has left a substantial number of former lawyers, contractors, and politicians either in jail, bankrupt or disgraced.
Will Trump support Elon Musks plans? It depends 100% on what Trump gets out of it. Musk most likely thinks he can outmaneuver Trump to get what he wants and Trump thinks the same, but Trump has the strongest hand being in a position of total power and one that Musk can never obtain, at least not with the current Constitution.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the inflation and tariffs and how it affects peoples economy to purchase expensive items like Teslas, might take a sales hit.
Also worth mentioning is in dictatorships the elite is untouchable - above the law, this also means they are outlaws and must resort to extra judicial methods to protect themselves. This means increased likelihood of opponents jailed, "deadly accidents" and and rapid spread of corruption, nepotism at all levels of government dramatically increases. One quick look at Trumps business records shows mind-boggling number of fraudulent verdicts(selling fake products, discrimination, racism, sexual assault, insurrection, theft and more) is a somber warning of whats to come. The worst is yet to come. Trump used RFK to capture votes, but RFK will be sidelined. Musk helped Trump to power and he will also be removed as soon as he has spent his usefulness to Trump. Trump is an extremely dangerous man but also a fairly predictable man: It is always all about himself all the time

Palantir may have led Trump to victory. How else was the majority of Americans bated into electing a criminal over a prosecutor. Peter Theil, the founder of Palantir and the only boss JD Vance ever had was massively bankrolled into politics by Peter Theil. And Peter Theil was at the public introduction of Trump to JD Vance, just prior to JD being placed onto the Trump ticket. With AI being smarter than most humans. We may be entering a post advertising, post media, and even a post Capitalist time. It’s definitely a time of suspended Democracy (for there was no Democratic over site on the goals given to AI in how to manipulate the electorate).

With there already having been 3 attempts to assassinate Trump this election cycle, America has been very close to have a JD Vance Pesidential candidate. At this point, it may be time to get to know JD Vance better. The foreign press has written may times now that Trump would be elected; but, he would not be President.
