Why are there so many stories about EV batteries catch fire? Risky
ОтветитьI will never stop being annoyed at the 10 minutes to charge to 80% nonsense.
It’s an absolutely meaningless statement. My IPAD battery can do that. It’s just such a math challenged statistic that communicates no useful information.
I don't care how fast a BYD charges, it is the quality of the whole vehicle and more than one
Mechanic in China tells people NOT to buy one.
😂😂😂They should change the name to Yank Wang!! That would be funnier! 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThat's exactly the reason to not buy an EV. It's old one hour after you bought it.
ОтветитьHere's my two cents. I for one don't think batteries charging at 500kW will revolutionize anything. Only thing they'll do is put insane stress on the already crumbling energy grid. What we need is a battery that can keep its charging speed deep into the pack. We're talking 200kW at 80%. Most batteries fall off a cliff after 50%, falling below 150kW, some even lower, to 120kW or 100kW. My MYP24 limits to 80kW at 80% charge. I mean.. rather than making a battery that can except the first 20% in 2 minutes, maybe make one that can except 250kW for the whole 10-80% stint.
ОтветитьSources of China, give a break, the Chinese are lying like crazy. I would not buy Chinese cars at all they have a tendency to introduce new technology without testing it properly. It is one thing to buy a Chinese phone, which will probably not kill you, and another to buy a Chinese car, which can kill you.
ОтветитьThose blade batteries are so good I feel like I want to be Samurai.
ОтветитьThat Yangwang ski jump ascent is a remake of an Audi Quattro commercial.
ОтветитьAre you on the payroll of the chines communist party?
Ответитьyanwan means looking up at a distsnce with respect and adolation so it is not a silly name
ОтветитьYo. Love your videos. Question: why don’t eu and America force Chinese companies to partner up with companies in the west to sell there, the way they did to western companies? Share that ip. Turnabout is fair play.
ОтветитьStill behind CATL Shenxing Plus battery
Ответить140 000 nutty amount but car is looking to be a limousine? Or they switched body from work van to car that may have made price jump.
ОтветитьI thank you Sam, for introducing me to the Atto 3 back in 2022 and I placed my order just after you. It arrived in August '22 and I reckon, it's the best decision I've ever made. We're so happy with our BYD. Our second vehicle may well be a BYD too, maybe an Xpeng G6 or the new Tesla MY.
ОтветитьVW plant in St. Thomas Ontario Canada producing batteries will continue.
ОтветитьLearn to pronounce YangWang! It means 'looking up', not weird at all for a luxury marque in the Chinese market.
ОтветитьThere may be a new way of charging a ev since mazda has a small gas powered engine to charge. I have always said a turbine powered by air would work.
ОтветитьThe issue though for Australia is how many chargers do we have to take advantage of these charging speeds. Still wish the upgraded Seal had these new batteries. Should I wait?
ОтветитьWill there be a new schenxing , golden or blade 2 LFP battery in the American version of the juniper model y ?
ОтветитьThe cost of public charging is so prohibitive. In the balance of things to prioritise in battery/car design, efficiency (kWh/kg) volumetric density and continuous power rating at pack level, are important to me. Vehicle range and Public fast Charging speeds are already good enough. If they improve without compromising improvements in other areas, great!
Ответить... God... always... ...
ОтветитьI bought Byd Seal last summer and i don't feel disappointed at all. It's a fantastic car with range that suits me very well. There's always new tech coming around the corner if u wait you'll be waiting forever. In real world a few people can actually afford a new car so it takes time to these technologies to saturate the market. So maybe in 2-4 years i'll change my car to new Byd with newest technology that is available.Let's see how this version of Blade battery holds up in Finnish winter.
ОтветитьBuyers regret and deflation. ICE cars have had 200 years of innovation. EVs 10 years of innovation. Thus I expect major innovation with cooling, batteries, motors, electronics and electronic components, software etc. in two years we will have amazing, cheap, long lasting batteries. Buyers today will regret.EVs will be much cheaper. However, in 20 years the rate if innovation will calm down and be uncremental
ОтветитьIt's my understanding that fast-charging my phone reduces the battery's lifespan.
ОтветитьThe figures quoted are for the cell level density, when you translate that to a total pack weight a 64kwh v2 blade pack would weigh 90-95kg less than a V1 - not bad applied to a 1900kg car but won't turn it into a featherweight.
ОтветитьThank you very much sir
ОтветитьJust say the charge TIME
ОтветитьI have a BYD PHEV, I don't care much about charging speed :)
ОтветитьJunk the car and whi observe that shit! Fuck
ОтветитьTHIS IS A GAME CHANGER BACK THE TRUCK UP AND BUY SILVER.....
ОтветитьNew design batteries may stop the 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 but they won't stop the power shortage
These EVangelists need to study OHMS Law and the thickness of cables required for Megawatts of power required 😆
I will buy a FULL electric byd shark... not a bloody hybrid
ОтветитьAll you EV morons better hope my mini EMPs dont go viral
ОтветитьWe were at a BYD dealership today. I test drove a Seal. It was fun to drive but, at about 21,000 yuan, it doesn't compete well with cars by X-Peng or Zeekr, which are only a bit more expensive and have self-driving and are more luxurious. The Song is good value if you want a cheap, good car, but it is not what we are looking for.
ОтветитьAnother B.S. battery that will not see the light of day
ОтветитьFast charging is not required if you are on a city trip, well within the driving range of the battery. It should be used only on highway drives, where your travel range becomes an issue, because Fast charging is generally not good for their service life and must be avoided, as far as possible.
ОтветитьThe vast majority of charging is level 2 or lower, so not that critical of a change. Besides the availability of chargers >250kwh is very limited.
ОтветитьI know China is paying you well, but you really should stop making these propaganda videos based on nothing more than Chinese manufacturers own claims.
Ответитьusing kilowatts to judge the charging speed isn't really fair. There are likely other limitations involved that don't have anything to do with the battery itself. Additionally, battery kwh needs to be considered. A battery twice the size can generally be charged twice as fast. The battery charging C rate is what needs to be known. I do not know if BYD publishes this.
ОтветитьDo you think in the current model of byd and denza which be produced in year 2025 will use 2nd gen blade battery as well? Actually i plan to buy Denza D9 in Thailand but i was hesitate after watching your clip. THX
ОтветитьMy life savings for a car. Where do I sign? LOL
Ответить160wh/kg isn't that bad.
ОтветитьThat's why I want to buy ev with no battery. Have battery swapping function. The ev is much less up front cost and I can get the latest tech battery.
ОтветитьWhere is the energy to charge the NEW battery going to come from?
ОтветитьBy the time the blade 2 comes out they will have the blade 3 in development and nearly ready.😊
ОтветитьHave you seen the comments about BYD being in a predicament. They have a 77% debt to asset ratio, which is the same as Evergrande had when they collapsed in China. They have no way to recoup the debt in a 1000 years based on the actual profit they make on each car
ОтветитьDo you believe chinese made cars can be a risky buy atm considering the world's in a kinda weird spot with Putin's war and such? i kind of want to buy the Byd Seal 4x4 but afraid we'll be cut out off the market at some point xD or am i just being overly paranoid?
Ответить
