Being expensive doesn't necessarily mean being unaffordable for the people who live there. For instance, Singapore is very expensive, but it is affordable to the locals and expats. There're other cities that are cheaper, but the unaffordability level is higher. So I guess that's probably cities like London, Paris, etc., is not on the list.

Tel aviv is not the largest city in Israel

i havent been to most of the cities presented in this video but I have visited zurich and as a person who lives in the center of Israel 20 minutes away from Tel Aviv i can guarantee you that Tel Aviv is more expensive in every aspect than Zurich. Buying a fucking orange juice near the beach becomes a big financial decision.
