Fished there a lot a a kid in the 1950’s - biggest pike I caught was 7lb. Fished it again a few years ago and the most succesful lure as a black and silver rapala.
BTW - phonetically its ebbyr not eebyr

Will Millard patronizes us like we are little kids ( how to stay safe in a boat and buy 3 rod licenses) and does he rabbit! Lovely Lake.

I live just up the road from it. I’ve had lots of pike there, but nothing really big.

Thanks for visiting Llyn Ebyr, I used to fish here now and again when I lived in Llanidloes. Loved the variety of sport and there used to be some big pike in there, being a small lake though, it seemed to vary from year to year, as the pike would grow, the smaller fish would become less, until the pike would run out of smaller fish, and the circle of fish would develop again.
