I have really got into Ultraman. Ultraman and Ultra 7 are shown on local TV in my area. I also watch the newer and older ones on Pluto TV.

I never knew that they made something like this, it is just like Redman lol

this show is tailor made for the people who watch monster movies/shows and say "NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE STORY OR THE HUMANS I JUST WANT TO SEE THE MONSTER FIGHTS "

As long as it gave us more Ultra series I’m fine with this!

I just realized...the fact you put this video before your Hideaki Anno's RoU video kinda makes this video have similar role to the og Ultra Fight: to fill the time gap between previous video to a video about "RoU"

It's amazing how the concept evolved from Ultra Fight to shows like Ultra Fight Victory and Ultra Galxy Fight.

this is actually pretty cool, it's like Big Kaiju Battle.

it surprises me a concept as silly and juvenile as two giant monster fighting and being covered as if it were box/mma/wrestling isn't something more popular or that other people have tried to emulate

just two guys in monster suits going to the beach and beating each other in some sort of tournament bracket, with people and aliens pretending to be their managers, that's sounds like dumb fun

So what I'm getting from this is that Ultra Fight is a distant ancestor of Kaiju Big Battel, complete with wrestling commentary

It's oddly poetic what Sevenger Fight is
other than being a homage to Ultra Fight

At that point the studio, and by extension the series, was hanging on its final legs and this was what they had to simply buy time before they could essentially "revive" the series

Sevenger Fight is exactly that, everything from the way they filmed it to the locations being these open areas that don't seem to show any scale

But then all of a sudden there are these flairs of ridiculous good effects, and the final bombastic finishing explosions

After the lowest of lows, in this new era where a new generation is ushering in their first toku, just as we did before them at the series' prime

It feels like the team saying "we've survived

And *thriving.*"
