ОтветитьSo happy this turned up in my rec vids. That gravy looks divine, rich and dark with flavor. I'm one who looks for a reasonably priced cut of steak edged with some fat and then grind it myself. This meal is a Sunday comfort meal in winter, if I ever saw one.

ОтветитьYou can add wine to the process after you cook up the onions and mushrooms, put in about a half cup of dark wine, then let the wine cook then add the flour then the 3 cups broth or you can also put the wine into the broth as it will also cook for a bit. The wine flavor really works for this dish making it richer.
