Well as for price. I spent $400 for the mavic mini fly combo. This mini 2 is $600. $200 more and to me at least, not worth it for me. Maybe others would disagree but I am fine with the mini 1.

About the video... those 5 best points... 4K yes (@100mbitrate!) / Occusync yes / Weight (well I guess, but that's no improvement over the MM1) so I rather say RAW picture YES!! /stability (well it's a small ultra light drone what do you expect, yes improvement over MM1 but not shocking) / Price just can't argue with that ;) just wish they included 1080@120fps + static object (CAR) tracking for lets say 360Shot (i understand why 'moving objects' is NO GO)

What is the "REAL" practical battery life for the Mini 2?

No new hardware is required in drone to support OcuSync 2.0...it runs over standard wifi hardware. OcuSync is a Software Defined Radio (SDR)...so all the magic is in the software.

This is the only small thing that my wife likes to play with now

About to purchase a drone for video on our channel. Really strayed away from the Mini because everything we've heard says it can't handle any wind. So, leaning toward the Mav Air 2...but then I see this. New subb here btw :)

Thanks for the review. Since the Lichi app that allows flight plans works for the Mini 1 as far as I know. I wonder if it will support this one out of the box?

In my opinion this is a better deal then mavic air 2 because your not spending double the price for somthing that’s not better

The best part is trying out the Mavic during the summer in Red Bank NJ(lots of boats and the occasional dolphin)

This sucker flies up to 4 miles out and back. It’s awesomew. And no FAA bull shit. Allows me to record where ever around my neighborhood hood.

Red bank is a gorgeous area to fly! I flew my mini there before!

Mine's heading back to DJI. I had problems with the gimbal drifting and glitching out. But other than that, this drone is pretty nice. I'm just thinking I got a faulty gimbal.
