Finally an ultrasonic fingerprint reader! That optical one made me return both the 6 & 7. Many folks had no problems with it, but I never had such luck.

I think with the price hikes, they need to justify the $500+ launch price for the pixel 9a when it launches... I'm thinking that all pixel 9 series including the 9a have already been made

The fold looks a lot like the OnePlus open form factor which is really great comparing to the current terrible pixel fold

So the main camera is staying the same on the pixel 9 pro XL as the 8 pro?? Is the sensor different this type or the same in the 8 and 9 pixel ?

Quite a good idea to have a smaller pro device. When i got my pixel 6 i was thinking about getting the pro but after i saw it in person it was just too big😂the regular 6 was perfect size so thats what i got. I won't be upgrading this year because i dont feel i need to but when i do that means i can get a Pro device without it being a behemoth

Another video with wrong info, 50MP IMX858 was just a wrong rumor by same people that also said that P8 Pro will use GN2, so please check before spreading wrong information, official material confirmed that ultrawide and 5X zoom will be the same 48MP as in P8 Pro.

I hope the improved front camera lens will mean we finally get blur mode for the front camera mode. I have to use my iPhone if I want to vlog (I like the blur mode to avoid people's faces being there.)

At some point we won’t be able to tell these phones apart from one manufacturer to the next. Makes zero sense that these are priced the way they are other than, they will be on sale, A Lot. As always. Early adopters will pay the premium. I agree with you about the AI stuff. It’s a party trick mainly, at this juncture. Rumors that these manufacturers across the board will be charging for a lot of these features later, will kill them off pretty quick. Until One of the manufacturers come up with some type of God Like feature that people just have to have, it’s going to die on the vine. Apple is also rumored to be doing the same with their AI, good luck to all of these manufacturers with that. I think the redesign on these, although needed, is terrible. If I want an iPhone so will just buy an iPhone. Not mention they are priced similar and even the 15’s are Far Superior in specs to these Pixels and are more future proof. Pixels that start slow, aren’t going to get faster. Google has been selling its Google experience for years with Great cameras and really, nothing more. You really have to want that experience with the exclusion of getting a less than phone. As I do every year, I will buy another one, play with it for three months, take a hit on the trade in and move on, and long for the Nexus days.

Yeah, I never use the temp sensor. I'd much rather have a lidar like the iPhone pro models have.

I absolutely love the Pixel 9 design. It actually makes me want to switch from my Galaxy Fold 5.

I use the temperature sensor way more than any of the AI features just to check room temperature if nothing else.

I have always got the XL model for the larger screen. So this year I am not getting the 9 and waiting for the what the 10XL will be.

IF the Google Pixel 9 Series comes with the old ( Last years' Android 14 ) This means we the customers' are getting 6 years worth of OS and Security updates taking up to Android 21. This means we don't get the advertised 7 years worth of OS and Security updates, Why ?? !! IF it came pre installed with the New ( This years' Android 15 ) taking us up to Android 22, This would be the advertised 7 years of updates
