This is what happens when you can’t score in the 30s at halftime

Brutal. Too bad the didn't wake up and put in the desperation and effort you see from the teams that win, like Minnesota did today. Credit to the gophers today.
Boy, this is a low point. What a tough one to take. The whole conference is good, but Minnesota is one of the worst in the league, no reason to lose this one (at home)

Our defense has really dropped off this season. No defense no wins

Anyone else notice that Morgan gets wiped out by his own player with 4 second left when Minnesota shoots that 3 pointer? He is on the ground and slow to get up, but somehow takes the final shot of the game on the opposite side of court seconds later.

Nebraska simply has The Worst Athletic Department in Major College Sports.

From 1962 to 2003, Nebraska HAD THE BEST Athletics Department in The History of The NCAA.

The FALL Started when Bob Devaney stepped down in 1992 from Full-Time AD duties.

Bill Byrne was hired, and was part of THE NEW SCHOOL AD’S who went to COLLEGE to be an AD, and went up The AD LADDER, as opposed to OLD SCHOOL AD’S, who were former Football & Basketball Head Coaches.

The NEW SCHOOL AD’S are all about CHANGE, and PUTTING THEIR STAMP ON THE PROGRAM so they get CREDIT for Making Bold Coaching Firings and Hirings.

To this point, Byrne FIRED Devaney Basketball Coaching Hire Danny Nee, who was Nebraska’s Winningest Coach, and had beat Kansas’s Roy Williams 4 Straight Years at The Height of Kansas Basketball, and had gone to 5 NCAA Tournaments, and hadn’t had any losing seasons for over a Decade. He had ONE LOSING SEASON, and Byrne Fired Him.

What FOLLOWED was over TWO DECADES of Horrible Nebraska Basketball.

Nebraska would ROUTINELY beat Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Iowa State and other Non-Conference Teams. NO ONE LIKED seeing Danny Nee and Nebraska, because they were A Run & Gun TEAM who could SCORE on ANYBODY.

They were Upbeat & Fast Tempo.

After Nee was FIRED by Bill Byrne, Nebraska turned into a SLOW, BORING, LOSING TEAM.

Nee was fired in 1999.

After Firing Nee, thereby Ruining Nebraska Basketball, Byrne did THE NEW SCHOOL AD THING by LEAVING NEBRASKA and going to Texas A&M in 2002.

So Nebraska responded by HIRING THE ULTIMATE NEW SCHOOL AD, Steve Pederson in 2002.

Pederson 100% BELIEVES IN THE PHILOSOPHY of Firing Coaches and putting his STAMP on The Program.

In 2003, barely a Year after taking over, Pederson FIRED 58-19 Frank Solich after a 9-3 Season.

OBVIOUSLY, Nebraska Athletics has NEVER RECOVERED.

At This Point, Nebraska Men’s Major Athletics ( Football & Basketball), are not salvageable.

It’s OVER, and it’s been OVER since 2003,

It’s PERMANENTLY OVER.

Nebraska is THE WORST, and will ALWAYS BE THE WORST.

The crazy thing is:

Osborne came back in 2007 as Athletic Director, and restabalized things, and hired Pelini, who went 67-27.

Osborne retired as AD in 2013, and Nebraska hired another NEW SCHOOL AD, Shawn Eichorst, who fired Pelini in 2014, barely a year after arriving in Lincoln.

Eichorst did EXACTLY what Pederson did in 2003.

Nebraska will NEVER LEARN, and will ALWAYS BE THE WORST.
