Going to China is a crapshoot whether they'll let you out again or put you in prison when they accuse you of being a spy. Maybe you don't follow the news. Nobody in their right mind would go to China at this point in history.

The Australian PM Anthony Albanese was called a "Handsome Boy", and Australians couldn't contained themselves laughing. The term "Handsome Boy" is a common phrase which says "You are good looking". In the west, if you called a male handsome. there is an implied homosexual undertone. Worse still, some may take offence and punch you for the compliment !

We've been there a few times even with the visa costs. Best place to visit is the Canton Trade Fair - truly an amazing (and immersive) experience. As well as the China Unicom SIM card, don't forget your translator, and 5G WiFi hotspot, unless your home Telco offers affordable roaming data charges!

Going for my fifth trip to China in August, it’s a magical place. The western bias becomes ludicrous when you actually see China . We can walk safely through any cities at night and be safe. So many places of interest it would take a lifetime to explore. This time going to Xinjiang . Keep telling the truth brother. Cheers.
