Best beach hunter's ever 🫶🏼 Rob is our go to here in Michigan for knowledge in rock's, tumbling experiences and beautiful shorelines to explore 😀 he's like the godfather of this art imho
ОтветитьGreat fun. I loved the Johnathan rocks and the ones you find, also , that are not agates. Sam seems to stick to agates. I’m glad he is cheery about college. Big change.
I would love to see some rocks, post tumble. Thank you.
Awesome video Rob and finds that you all did today hope you and your family have a wonderful bless weekend. Glad that Sam got to be in the video and hope he enjoys is time off from school. God bless you and your family Rob
ОтветитьAnother great epidote , I mean episode .
ОтветитьIt's fun to put on the Closed Caption. It calls the wave sounds applause, so it's like the lake congratulating you for finding a good one
ОтветитьAudio and visuals from video: educating conversation, quick rock licks, laughter, lulling wave sounds, sunshine, yooperlites, beautiful beach, kaleidoscope of rocks, bloop......audio and visuals from living room: ohhhhh, awe!, to the right ! to the right! , face palm , beautiful! noooooo! wow gorgeous , hag stone! Stripey! Great video thankyou for sharing❤
ОтветитьSee i love the little gems Sam finds .He is a blessing.Have fun home guy.❤all
ОтветитьIdiot! Why did he throw that rock in the water? 🤣
ОтветитьYou should not bring Sam anymore because he’s cutting down on youragate finding. Not that you would find the ones he’s finding but the ones you do find, he tells you they’re not agates.
ОтветитьI can’t believe you didn’t take it for granite.
ОтветитьWhat a fun adventure you three had taken advantage of the nice weather. Agates and nice rocks for everyone.
ОтветитьCould you do a video on tumbling small stones. I use mostly small stones in my art so over the last year I've been trying to perfect technique to tumble tiny pebbles but it is very difficult getting it from clumping up and totally failing. there is very little information online about tumbling large batches of small stones without it all getting stuck together. I understand I need to have different size rocks but My yield of tiny stones is so small when I do that it's not worth all the effort for what I'm left with.
ОтветитьSorry commenting same question again is 70 grit to much for small rock tumbler I can get 50lb for 70 dollars at harbor freight and any advice on there other media they sale
ОтветитьThanks for the walk down the beach, I'm a rock hound too.
ОтветитьGreat video, always look 👀 forward to seeing more of your videos.
I have rocks that I collected from Lake Superior that I have no idea what they are, they’re just pretty ones.
Leave it to Sam to have the adventurous spirit of youth to film the video hanging out the side of the Jeep! Unique! and, above and beyond the call of duty. LOL
Do y'all have a drone for the aerial shots? I must have forgotten if you ever told us that you had that ability ... or, I missed that episode. That is a beautiful shot - - the water being so blue! Being able to see the landscape from the elevated angle is just plain IMPRESSIVE!
So, then I read the description box and Jonathan has the drone! So fun!
Perfect sun angle to find some shiners!! Keep up those drone shots. Stunning!! ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
ОтветитьThanks for making my Sunday better.
ОтветитьAhh October on Lake Superior... the rocks are in their fall colors and the water is at its wettest of the year. No better time to rockhound!
ОтветитьI love your videos. I'm so jealous that you live so close to Lake Superior. I visited for the first time this summer (from NC) and now I'm hooked. So many pretty rocks everywhere you look! And the scenery is also beautiful.
ОтветитьHi Rob! Were you guys near the 2 Hearted River? If not, where about were you guys this time. My husband & i are planning a trip up that way for our 30th anniversary. We've been up that way towards Whitefish Point & near Lake Muskalon. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьGreat to have good weather on the big lake this late in the year! Loved Sam’s big nodule.
ОтветитьGreat stones! What a pitty, it has become to stressful to go to the States for me. Otherwise I 'd like to hunt in Michigan, ,too.
ОтветитьTwo weekends ago I was at Deer Park, not far from where I gather this was. Some great rocks along that stretch, might try and make it there again before it gets too cold.
ОтветитьBuy looking at the rock colors , I'm guessing you were out near vermillion point? Thanks for the video, take care
ОтветитьRather be there than where I am in a hospital bed trying to get rid of pneumonia! Enjoying your video looking @ LSA, epidote, jaspers, etc.
Thanks for sharing!
I assume you start with an empty bucket, how many pounds of rocks do you go come back with ?
Have a great day
Not only are your videos educational but therapeutic with the close ups of the water, waves, and sounds. Please keep them like this. Love the videos!
Ответитьi enjoy waatching your videos. keep on rock hunting.rock on.
ОтветитьAS always a fun video to watch. Thanks for keeping up the chase. Question what speed do you run your 4 inch Makita wet polishing machine at when polishing rocks? I figure the latest video is the best place to find you.
ОтветитьThat was a pretty magnetite
ОтветитьYup that would be me id better so enthralled in the pretty rocks id miss the agates, then come home with a punch of pretty rocks and a few agates, but I'm getting better lol
ОтветитьWonderful video…loved the snowball. Would like to see some of the tumbled results. And yes…I yell in agony over some of the rocks you toss back…nooooooo!!😂
ОтветитьHello from Maine
ОтветитьI want so badly to visit the UP and get to see all the beautiful things!!!!!
Ответить🙋♀️❤️. Such a beautiful beach...The crashing waves were mesmerizing. Super great company.. massive skyline. Cool rocks! Thanks for sharing this excellent day!
ОтветитьHey, can I please ask you what is the grinder you use? Keep up the great job 😊
ОтветитьLicks the rock while surrounded by water? That's excitement and dedication. I love it!!!
ОтветитьWhat is Sam majoring at school
ОтветитьAfter watching your videos for months, I finally got up to Whitefish Point and Deer Park this past weekend. It was sunny and warm enough, and DP had the softest waves. Brought back lots of beautiful rocks to last tumbling thru the winter. Can’t wait till early spring when I hope to get back up to Superior. Thank you for your inspiring videos!
ОтветитьI picked up a bunch of those “Mystery Rocks” while vacationing at a beach house in Grand Marais, I think they’re quartzite and banded iron, I don’t know what the yellow is though. Anyway, I picked up a few agates with those mystery rock colors/matrix. In the tumbler now.
ОтветитьDoes Jasper come in more than one shade of red?
ОтветитьHe is “soft” because he has a four-day weekend off I don’t understand ?
Ответить
