Why do they always review the top end model?

All good, but it retains all the irritating parts of the Golf, most notably the bad support for wide-shouldered thick-legged gentlemen such as myself. If you feel like a geriatric cripple every time you get out of your Golf, don't think the T-Roc will make it any better for you...

Dear Matt. I love your reviews. The only thing I’d say is when you list the 5 cool features of a car, you shouldn’t really then just mention features you get on premium models. 5 cool features and 5 annoying things should be on all models. Just my thoughts:)

When I was in camping I saw one of these with the window open and someone tried stealing it but had a steering lock. I understand why they wanted to steal it.

Matt aways bangs on about "Brittle" plastics the definition of brittle is "hard but liable to break easily." most of the plastics on these cars are hard but I'm pretty sure they are hard wearing too and I bet they are pretty hard to break.

Why comments obsessed with interior quality ? As long as seats , wheel and controls are good .
Most car reviews aren’t very good for me personally , I’d like to know engine design/reliability/efficiency , front wheel drive or rear wheel , in line or transverse. What moves the wheels , how suspension is designed , overhead cam single or double , timing belt or chain , diesel maintenance and extra added dpf ?
Everyone is always on about interior materials? I can never find a more mechanical review except maybe Wikipedia.

I'd just get a Golf estate. Better to drive, bigger boot and cheaper.

People often ask in videos, what the point of this car is. I play Golf, and at one point I had a Tiguan R-Line and a Golf R. The golf clubs didn't fit in the boot of the Golf, but they fit in the Tiguan, but the Tiguan was terribly slow (150 BHP R-Line), and the clubs had to go in the back seat of the Golf, so this T-Roc with the 445 litre boot would do the job nicely, and the 2.0 TSi is quicker than the Tiguan. So I don't wreck my back seats, or loose my license. I can still get the shopping in the boot, and enjoy a spirited drive when i'm late for my tee off time.

Annoying thing* the placement of the front cup holders. If you have the arm rest extended (which you’ll want to do on pretty much any journey) you can only access 1 cup holder. Super annoying

Ugly car.

The reason why the dash is not soft plastic is because of SUN damage. More glass means more rays and over the years a soft dash will start to peel away, especially around the Air bag units. Harder, tougher dash means longevity. So from that point of view, it is more like a practical SUV. In fact, the harder wearing material is more expensive. But these days we want everything to look smooth and silky i.e fake and not practical.

it has weak climate. In full summer it strugles to cool the cabin
