Trade him he is a cancer to this team...didnt get along with horvat and now petterson hes the issue
ОтветитьLet the boys play hockey! Vancouver media is a pack of vultures who need to get real jobs and stop living off the effort and skills of people better at something than they are. I’d love to have players interrogate reporters over their: failed marriages, work challenges, friendship difficulties, drug & alcohol problems, bad columns, etc… No wonder players do NOT want to play here.
ОтветитьCanucks Media should stop with the mind games and let the boys focus.
ОтветитьMiller is my favorite player
ОтветитьGuys been actively losing us games by not following the game plan or listening to the coach. He probably needs to play fewer minutes since his conditioning is probably not great given his time away. His focus too. The shorthanded goal and the OT goal against were both him not listening to what the coaches said (which we know from what Tocchet said yesterday postgame). Its good to see both him and the coach acknowledged the mistake but its become a bit of a pattern. Against Utah it was him staying too long out there with the bench visibly calling for him to change, he pushes for offense instead, then doesnt get his man on the 2 on 1 game winner the other way. The Petey thing is a distraction and the media needs to just leave it at some point, but I honestly think they should let Petey play with Hughes more and reduce Millers minutes a bit til he gets back into form. Blueger can play 2-3 more minutes a game.
ОтветитьVancouver management is a sad joke
ОтветитьMiller hates when JPat asks questions lol
ОтветитьBums commenting on bums ! Vancouver is a fuk”n joke of a team!
ОтветитьThese are the most awkward brutal interviews. I don't expect New York Rangers Tortorella vs Larry Brooks style interactions " Brooksie you slob why don't you go to hell?" but these Canucks interviews are ridiculous. Softball questions, spoonfeeding the answers. AAAARG. Make it stop...
ОтветитьMedia is always digging for shit that doesn't exist.....anything to sell air time or a paper! Good interview JT.
ОтветитьGod I hate our media. Twitter is so fucking toxic right now.
ОтветитьPretty sad😳the press has nothing to talk about Vancouvers play of late ,so they are talking about how Petey is pissed that miller took time off after being benched and Miller is pissed because Petey is playing like a little bit€h again🤣😂
ОтветитьCrazy this all came about because of fortnite
ОтветитьI think the media have created this rift on their own to have a story to drag out... leave the players to play the game and quit digging for dirt... it just makes the Media look like the idiots.
ОтветитьNothing good going on lol, what the hell is good? You have 3 wins in 10 games
Ответить"This isn't a Thing" & JT Owned his blown coverage vs Sens. That's Pro accountability, unlike Vancouver media. VanCity Media needs to stfu and chill out on this overblown drama! If we were wining every game this JT vs Petey nonsense wouldn't exist. For all we know his leave of absence was family related.
ОтветитьWow … to be that talented & to have to answer stupid questions from the press. They are pathetic.
Ответить24 hours ago it was get rid of this guy. Now everyone loves him.. Holy fuck, Vancouver.
ОтветитьI think the media should google new questions instaed of the same 10 every night..must suck finding new ways to answer the same shit every night......
Ответитьgood thing he realised he was dog shit against the sens. even the few time they were on the ice together. you can see his efforts just not there.
ОтветитьCanadian media is outrageous, canucks are in a playoff spot and in every game despite the guys we have on our blue line. if we had hronek and another bonified top 4 puck moving d man we wouldnt even be talking about petey and jt.
ОтветитьCanucks failed to improve the defense. No surprise on results so far. Some luck needed on injuries but no panic from management. Shiete happens. So far Allvin is handling it well and riding out the swells.
ОтветитьMiller handled it well. No wonder no player wants to come to Vancouver. Dealing with these bullshit reporters day in and day out. Paterson’s last question? Like go fk yourself. Nobody needs to deal with this bullshit.
ОтветитьWOW this is mass delusion from the players to the fans and especially the media!!
Ответитьwow - if Miller & Pete turn out to be friends - it will really hurt the credibility of the media !?
ОтветитьClearly this guy is focused on winning. Trade that bum #40!
ОтветитьThe last question was icing on the cake to just let this issue slide. What a dumb question!! Stop creating speculation and let team focus on winning like how media should be focused on team performance. Not drama that may or may not be true. Give it a rest already
ОтветитьSo sick of these know it all media guys that pick the players apart constantly, over analyze them and harass them with stupid probing questions.
ОтветитьI like players like JT who are brave to call the media out and tell them off.
I think there's friction between him and Petey as he tries to motivate him and other players while maintaining competitiveness. Petey is more reserved and handles things like pressure or criticisms differently than JT, so I can see why they don't get along.
Slump okay, för both. Atleast petey back checks
ОтветитьHere's what I see, or think I see, having managed a lot of non sports Project Team's in the past. Everyone is working towards a common goal, some people feel others aren't pulling their weight, and say so in team meetings. Supervisors blame other Supervisors for not meeting expectations. The people being pointed out get upset and push back, both of them admit they need to do better, but are still upset at each other, the Management tries to calm things down. Feelings are hurt, but in the end, everyone takes pride in their work. Management acknowledges that some of the Team Members don't like each other much, because they're different people with different personalities and respond to critisizm differently. The overall Project Leader tells Management that his Supervisors have worked well in the past, and he's confident they'll deliver. However, when you ask both about it, they just want to move on and do their jobs. Neither want to get fired, both respect each other's skill sets, but they're just different people, and lead differently. This doesn't mean that the Project Team is falling apart, in fact, when both those top guys are feeling the heat, their team members work even harder to get things done. Management knows the skill set of both Teams, and knows they can deliver when everyone is on their A Game. They don't want to fire anyone and feel that they have put together the right group of people to deliver the Project. There may be some weaknesses on the Team, so Management realizes those weaknesses and are actively recruiting people to fill those gaps. This sort of thing happens the World over, daily, in multiple corporations. Now, imagine there's press involved and they keep asking the Supervisors if they dislike each other, is the Team falling apart? Can they work together? They noticed that the Supervisors didn't have lunch together, and want to know why, they keep talking about this amongst themselves, almost delighted to be stirring the pot, adding more pressure to the stress the Supervisors, and the Team are under. This constant barrage of media attention starts affecting the rest of the Team Members and they don't know where to put themselves in the middle of this. So, what's creating this boiling pot of turmoil? The Supervisors, the Management, or the Media?
ОтветитьWhose else crings and tenses up their shoulders when you recognize the sound of Patersons voice when its his question time ?
ОтветитьI don't know. Heres the way i see it. Miller is not gonna let shit slide. whether it's his mistake or someone else. He is clearly a passionate player who voices his opinion. Petey was a no show after he signed his contract last year. He went from averaging almost 2 points a game to .4 for the 2nd half of the season and was an absolute no show in the playoffs. He was actually one of the worst on the team. Besides cole lol. Then he starts this season and same ole .4 ppg again. Miller leaves then all of a sudden hes a 2 ppg player again. Miller comes back and petterson has 0 points in 6 games. I think petey went into a slump. Miller let him know it and petey got his panties in a twist. But there is no doubt out of the last 2 seasons for 40 games petey was a beast and the other 80 hes a 2nd or 3rd line at best. He needs to stop fucking around for the 3rd highest paid player in the league.
Ответитьif the price is right, one of them is getting traded.
ОтветитьMiller and Petey do not need to be BFFs to be effective and productive teammates together. Their play has been sub-par, so it is fine to question why that is the case. Whether there is a rift between the two, honestly I just do not care. They are professionals and what I care is how they do on the ice. I know media has no obligation to help the team, but to me, constantly digging at this alleged rift is lazy journalism - ask them to analyze what they need to do to get out of their respectful funk instead.
ОтветитьMiller and Pettersson need to do the walk, just like Kesler and Willie did.
ОтветитьJ.T. got rid of Horvat, now he has Petterson in his sights. Who's next. He is nothing but trouble, trade him!
ОтветитьJT Miller was in on the goals that Vancouver got, his hard work helped Vancouver score. Just because you don't get points on the plays where Vancouver scored doesn't mean his play wasn't impactful in helping Vancouver score. If Tocchet let his top players do what made them star players than we would win more games. Vancouver has proven that they can win doing the run and gun style of play. Let them play
ОтветитьHe was smart to walk away knowing full well they were going to make the talking point about the alleged locker room problems which he has little tolerance for.
ОтветитьWatching these guys cry to media and get so emotional, Petey, Miller, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Nathan MacKinnon, Jack Hughes etc. Makes you realize how impressive it is that some guys like Willy Nylander, Quinn Hughes, etc can handle the media so well. I can just see Willy laughing to there questions and not getting all hostile towards reporters. At the end of the day it’s part of there job and I’ve heard through VERY close sources that these “rumours” are 100% true.
ОтветитьJT is a dynamite player and a heart and soul guy. He's gone through some stuff this year but he still carries himself like a real pro.
Most of the reporters are pros too; only a few of them are really trying to stir it up. I think Jeff Patterson is an honest reporter and an intelligent one. Not sure why people are portraying him as a weasel.
Miller should try to lighten up, for his own sake. He's well liked, and the best option is to answer some questions and walk away when it gets stupid. Walk away with a genuine smile and LET IT GO. Good luck, JT.
If this Miller-Petterssen rift is untrue, then there should be accountability on the reporter who first broke this news. It was probably Friedman.
ОтветитьYes, referred to him AS ‘petey’!! Not PETTERSSON! So reporters, leave them alone.
ОтветитьBoyz look from within, tune out what is on the first step, first row beyond the boards
ОтветитьBro wants out of Vancouver so bad.
ОтветитьWhen is somebody gonna ask him some half decent questions
ОтветитьSports analyst questions... Yaaaawwwwnnn way to be an adult about it Miller. Long season good team ignore the stupid questions
Ответить
