If only Bourdain had learned something about his ego through all his journeys, he may not have killed himself

British just like America, move in abuse and accuse, then leave with all the money a absolute plague by every country it touches, weather a royal or a president, they ruin everything they touch, the opposite of the mideas touch, instead of turning what they touch to gold, they steal everything they touch and turn everything they touch to $ hit

Can’t understand why one would feel proud of being a member of the Council of States of British India. That the British could rule India for so many years was not because of any formidable force of their own but it was our own countrymen who helped them stay in power so that the ill gotten perks could trigger down to them also

Personally, I prefer Guajarati food. I love the gentle and yet spicy flavors that seem unique and wonderful to me, perhaps because the origins of this type of Indian cuisine is Jain, and I think, the unique and beautiful state of Gujarat.

I found the house of the former Maharaja in Simla very sad. Not because history has moved on - I am very glad it has - but because the men at the table were themselves as dated and colonial as the house, just fading sadly away like wallpaper, both a reminder of the exploitation of India by the Raj, and also the symbiosis of the Empire with the Indian ruling elites.
