They do have some skins that you do need to actually pay real world currency for though which is player made so it makes sense as it world be hard for DE to compensate the players who participate in the Tennocon skin contests if they were going off platinum rates.

Instead of making a bunch of games in different genres, DE just puts everything into Warframe. I like the approach but I hope nobody else emulates it, DE is the only game company I trust to pull it off.

Making Sevagoth Prime skip THREE other Warframes (Xaku, Lavos and Yareli) was just dirty

tin hat: they made warframe 1999 as a contingency for soulframe. in case if soulframe may flop even after say 1-2 years of major updates, reception for 1999 gets more recognized then they may dedicate a separate game for wf: 1999, expand gameplay and add more lore to that era.
to add the yare cuatious how they make stuff now after the let go of wayfinder which they were publishing and was their side of backup revenue but supposedly issues occur between the devs that lead to force end contract between the two. so with wayfinder out they for sure had a oh !@$! moment and is cautious with soulframe development and need backups.

Literally the only things you can’t earn in game are Tennogen skins (unless you’re on console) and Prime Access cosmetics. This game is great.

Honestly every year I am surprised by just how many viewers DE manages to pull during Tennocon. Like damn, almost 400.000 for a single game, with a relatively small community compared to many other games. It's insane

Say what you want about Warframe, but how many live service games are able to come this far, more than 10 years and counting, to organise their own con exclusively for their own game? Not many I believe.

Ngl, this looks like a couple of steps back. It literally feels like stepping back to 1999 with maybe 2005 graphics both in terms of visuals but also gameplay... look that bike scene... Why isnt that just a cutscene... "Uwu look at me im driving a motorcycle through a predetermined route/locked street..... And then Arthurs voiceacting... Indie game? No good recording gear? And some rando's dad providing free voice-service? Its so bad its 1999.... And WTF is this horrible shit death metal music growl..... Noone wants to listen to this shit. Who turned 40 in DE? And passing through a phase? Plz leave your personal shit/struggle out of the game maybe?!?!
