Shoes off

I agree with another comment that “shoes off” , in America, may be generational. When I was growing up, I knew 1 family who required shoes off in their home. Everyone who knew them also knew the circumstances behind their decision. When I was raising my daughters, same thing. My daughter has a no shoe policy. I have adopted the same policy because her children are in my house on a regular basis, and it makes sense to me. I keep shoe covers for any workers who come to my home.

I believe in taking my shoes off and appreciate others do the same.

I use 6 wool dryer balls to dry my laundry. 🧺 If I want a nice scent on my laundry, then I’ll place 3 drops of lavender essential oil on each dryer ball. I haven’t bought any dryer sheets in 7 years. It’s Zero waste and I save 💰 💰 💰 👩🏽

Animals, birds etc randomly go to the bathroom outside, even if you don't see it, you are probably walking on it. Chemicals and pollution also get tracked in on shoes. Wearing them inside is beyond gross!

Where I live in Canada it's taboo to keep your shoes on in the house. If you go to someone's house and don't take your shoes off you're considered a heathen lol

Ugh my boyfriend refuses to take his shoes off. Oh wait..he walks in all the way to the bedroom puts his (house flip flops on) then continues to wear those in and out of the house. I have a push button extension cord for my Christmas tree. Love it. Just step on the button to turn the lights on and off instead of having to reach down and unplug it, and stick tree needles in your eyes. Also, it is green with a red button. 🎄

I’m new here found you while scrolling and have to let you know this; I work packing orders @ Amazon and about 10 days ago I began seeing more and more of these 18” long oval wrapped in plastic blue tubes with some other small pieces in the middle of the package. I have SO many of these thinking “wow a lot of ppl get their cpap hoses on Amazon” until just now!! I’m now going to be one of these customers buying the dryer lint cleaner!! Thank you for explaining what it is!! Loved this and your commentary is very relatable. OH BTW!!! I’m a shoes off kinda chick too. Everyone gets a pair of house crocs to wear indoors.

I have EVERYONE take their nasty shoes when they come into my home bc I don’t know where they stepped. Im also Asian and we were brought up removing our shoes when we enter someone’s home. I also squeegee my shower and shower curtain 😊😅😂. I don’t clean my bathtub shower as much bc I squeegee the hell out of the walls, the tub and the liner curtain.

I would never put any of that ghetto junk in my house.

Bottoms of shoes are the most disgusting! I treat them as if they were toxic waste when I pack, when I put them on and off and I most definitely do not walk further than my threshold with them on! Completely agree with you on that one 😉

What do you think of the shoe wrap machine? You just step in with a shoe 👟 and it wraps the bottom in plastic. I do like the pods that can be used to wash the washer and one for the dishwasher and one for the garbage disposal. Plus they make gels for mold in the rubber part of the washing machine. And there are tablets to clean water bottles using hot water.
