Might & Magic Heroes 7 Review

why are all these games so effin buggy? They're aren't even or that complex. Corrupt save games are unacceptable in this day and age.

Stopped at "stuck with Ubisoft's overlay which seems to slow my pc down"

Heroes of MM 4 was the last best Heroes. 3 is my childhood but 4 is my daily

There is a tutorial mission and links to three turorial vids that are actually helpful. I like the combat animations. They're not overly-fancy by today's standards, but they are nice and fun. I'm about an hour into Sylvan campaign and it's really fun so far. Been playing since HOMM III.

Heroes 2, 3, and 5 are my favorites. No ones out here showing love to 2 but it is such a masterpiece.

Considering playing MAM7 in 2019 because I love III and IV. Dialogue involving whining about 'not wanting to be king' makes me think this must have inspired D&D when writing Game of Thrones Season 8. However, the fact it's similar to the older games is a plus - updated graphics, mechanics and hopefully semi-competent AI compared to IV. Is it worth it?

ugh, how I yearn for this to be done again right. Nothing complicated, HOMM3's not broken don't fix it, 2D is viable, no need to overthink. That being said it is always hard to re-do such a classic.

Flenking is not new combat action, in HOMM 5 you had it

H3 still looks way better.

i've enjoyed this game actually. improved from 5 (i never play 6). the problem in homm 5 is the bot turn took time so long and in 7 they fix it.
i've played homm 3, 4 and 5. maybe homm 3 is still the best, but this game (homm 7) worth a try

I see a lot of comments about heroes 3 but what about 4? I played it a lot as a child and personally i love it

Heroes 4 still the best.

I like heroes IV better than Heroes III because you get the hero to fight also, with the right built and artifacts, a single hero can slay thousands of black dragon.
Heroes III is all about logistic, as long as you have town portal spell or fly, than that is it, victory is at hand.

How did they manage to make it look worse than the third one ?

Only thing wrong with the series are the fans. They got used to how homm 3 played and rubbish anything else. Fans are now old men.

Nobody talks about Homm4 for it being different.

I stopped playing on HOMM 6. I liked each, though.
For some reason, I liked HOMM 3 and 2 the most.

why they are doing this H7 crap?...they should by doing remasters! not wasting time with new games if they can't make them right.

Remember homm5 where cutscenes were animated and when u come to a castle its a cinematic 3d animation of the castle

Heroes 3 should be remastered! We gamers should create a petition for it as it is the best game of the series!

Heroes 2 and 3 had that cartoon type look. Hexagon movement on battlefields and honestly you cant replace the music which was absolutely on point.

Bring that feel back without making it into nickelodeon ninja turtles graphics and back to the 90s look and it would be well recieved.

This game is a legitimate pièce of crap compared to Heroes 5,4,3 and 2.

They are thieves, game won't launch or authentication issues.. Thievery and bugs, you wo'nt beable to play it, be VERY careful

Watching battle play out is a big part of why people like this series? Is it though? Battle has always been turn based and pretty tame.. the over world game is the draw here.

Cutscenes were not awful, they leave a lot to imagination. These games were made for those who grew up reading books, not just watching movies and clips.

Panned. But I LOVE this campaigns story.

I play 3, 5.5, and 7 all the time. 5.5 is a better game. But I dislike how you have to spin the camera so much to see what to click on. 7 is a bit more refined in the 3D. Where you can still see everything. Like 3. Really only have to spin the camera if you sniff secrets.
