No seriously, who uses copper or Electrum? The amount of inflation our characters would cause if DND worked like real life is absurd.

Yk, I just saw a single episode of this series and now i started binging it and I am INVESTED.
I don't know much about DnD but I've been trying to find a campaign to watch and I have to say this is very entertaining, thank you guys for making this! I have enjoyed it alot from what I've seen so far.

My campaign would be horrible animated there was a baby goblin in a wheelchair that they were fighting against. They pushed over the wheelchair and then dragged the goblin face on the ground I'm trying to get it to join their party and then one of the people cut its head off and I is keeping its head as a trophy

20 episodes later......

Coming back to Episode 1 after the characters have gotten so much more fleshed out is wild. Once upon a time this was just a slightly petty argument about who “should” pay when they should probably just be helping each other or focusing on the adventure, and the characters were only intended to be faces for the gag and not much else…

~20 episodes later those characters both have money troubles as significant factors in their backstories, which suddenly puts the conversation in a whole new light!

So I gotta ask - I know that when this first episode was made there wasn’t really any intent to do more with the characters. But when you /did/ decide to do more, were you thinking about the money argument when you guys decided to write Jackson’s and Pepper’s backstories? Or is it just kind of a coincidence that they thematically lined up with the original video? :D
