The journey involves using a Songthaew (shared taxi) and a large bus.

Here's how it works:

Start by catching a Songthaew in Pattaya to reach Jomtien Bus Station. The Songthaew ride costs just 10 Baht.

Upon arrival at Jomtien Bus Station, take a large bus bound for the airport. The bus fare is usually 141 baht, but can vary.


No need for transfers; the trip typically takes less than two hours, making it both easy and budget-friendly.

For those of you who need to know the exact locations:

You can find the Songthaew station in Pattaya City on Second Road.

Jomtien Bus Station is conveniently located on the way to Jomtien Beach.

A great landmark to help you know when to get off the bus is the Pan pan Italian Restaurant, as Jomtien Bus Station is right across the road from it.
Large buses can be reserved 2 days in advance at the station counter.

It takes about 10 minutes by Songteu and about 2 hours by comfortable bus to Suvarnabhumi Airport (not including transfer time)
